There's a bit of a chicken and egg situation where confidence is concerned... in order to get really confident at something, we need to practice, practice, practice and get experience, yet lacking in confidence might well mean that we don't put ourselves forward to gain that experience needed. So it becomes a bit of a cycle; we lack confidence teaching, so don't put ourselves forward for teaching opportunities, which further propels the lack of confidence, which means we're even less likely to go out and get experience...
This podcast is about breaking that cycle; how to put yourself out there, gain experience and increase confidence. We'll look at tricks to feel very confident when planning and communicating your yoga offering, and then when actually delivering it too! We'll look at conquering nerves, and silencing that niggly imposter voice, so you can shortcut to getting excited about sharing your yoga, without feeling held back.
It's so important for you to be confident when delivering your yoga knowledge to your students, we hope so much that this podcast helps you find, and build, the confidence that you need and deserve.
In this podcast, we look at:
- Building confidence as a yoga teacher through deepening our knowledge and understanding of yoga
- Building confidence through clear, understandable and useful session plans
- And gaining experience – even when we’re not feeling overly confident in our ability – via some more creative methods than just paid classes, which can feel like a real added pressure sometimes.
