Sometimes life is hard and seems unbearable. How could someone actually rejoice in suffering? The Apostle Paul writes to us in Romans 5:3 "...we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us." Join Craig and Troy as they talk about suffering and character.

We continue in the book of Romans chapters 3 and 4 as the Apostle Paul teaches us the amazing atonement of Jesus Christ, for you. Have you ever wondered if Jesus could have sinned? Can we rightly claim to be saved by our works, efforts or merits? What does the Word "Propitiation" mean? Craig and Troy talk about their sinfulness and their desperate need for the forgiveness of Jesus Christ, which He won For You from the cross and through the grave. The Apostle Paul tells us that the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation. Can there be salvation without something to be saved from? Our sin is indeed great, but the forgiveness of our Savior is greater. It is the kindness of God that leads us to repentance. What does repentance mean? We talked about how the Law of God shows us the perfect righteousness of God and how unrighteous we are.  The Law shows us our desperate need for someone to deliver us from ourselves.

The Gospel comes from outside of us and delivers what the law cannot.

Join Craig and Troy as they dig into this topic which brings peace to tortured hearts.
