Forging Yourself Forward

Today I wanted to talk about the inner critic in each of us, that voice that can hold us back if we are not careful. We all know we have it but is there something to be done to quiet it so we can pursue the path we want?

The other day after what was a very productive day of work for myself, as i passed my normal end of work day I began to ask myself when do i call it a day. I felt like I was getting so much done I was afraid to stop. When I took the time to think about it I realized this is not just a work questions but one that effects may aspects of life. I wanted to share a few of the tools that I use to know when to stop so that I can come back ready for tomorrow with the same enthusiasm.

Today I wanted to talk about something that I have struggled with for as long as I can remember and that is just sitting still. I have always been a bit of an restless kid and shocker I can be that was as an adult too. But as an adult I have worked on trying to sit still for periods of time to get certain tasks or things that needed to get done, done. I wanted to share a few of the things that I do with you that I find work for me.

Today I wanted to discuss how gratitude and ambition are not opposing force but instead 2 sides of the same coin that will help you find a more meaningful and happy life. #gratitude #ambition #perspective

Today I wanted to talk about the importance of holding off having a view or opinion of something. We constantly are bombarded on social media of the need to have a stance or a view on something but how often do we really have the information necessary to have a stance. I also share what I do and things I've worked on when a topic or view comes up I am no familiar with.

Today in honor of the month of November and Movember I wanted tot discuss a problem that I see with men and the rapid decline of friendships that have meaning. I also discuss my way of making friendships last and finding your group of friends on a similar journey.

I recently took some time off due to being sick, something that often seems to be taboo in the the area when someone is trying to improve. We often see hustle culture as all in all the time or you're failing. Today I wanted to talk about why i now look at it differently and why that may help you.

Just wanted to share a quick Halloween message of why being a little silly or like a child is important, and how it can make you and the world a better place.

Today I wanted to talk about a lesson I learned over the last ten years with regard to general vs. applied knowledge and how understanding the distinction coupled with action and reflection is how i really saw progress in myself and the change I wanted.

While dealing with a very hectic and difficult bedtime routine I was reflecting on what that lesson was teaching me overall about life. How no matter what we do there is always be difficult times, times a chaos and what can we do when those times hit so we can weather the storms?
