The original location was a tiny spot on First Street and La Brea in Los Angeles, CA. At today's location at 7312 Beverly Boulevard the colorful décor, the brightly outfitted servers, the tasty Mexican food favorites, and the world-famous margaritas all make dining at El Coyote an experience like no other.
Margie and Barbara are sisters, and the owners of El Coyote. They are the nieces of the couple that started El Coyote, Blanche and George March. When Blanche passed, she left El Coyote to her brother and his wife, which were the parents of Margie and Barbara. When they passed, their daughters were given the gift of El Coyote. Today Margie’s son, Wayne is the third generation to help run the day-to-day restaurant operation.
