Former Cincinnati Bengal and NBC broadcaster Cris Collinsworth joins us today on In the Trenches with Dave Lapham to discuss the Bengals win over the New York Giants and how the Bengals can still turn their 2024 season around. 

Cris of course called the game on Sunday night and it was a surprising outcome. It was a low-scoring, defensive game which is the exact opposite of the Bengal's past four games. It was a frustrating game for Joe Burrow and the offense but Burrow played well enough in the big moments to pull out the win. 

The highlight of the game was the defense, playing their best game of the  2024 season. BJ Hill and Trey Hendrickson were huge standouts, giving the Giants problems all game. The secondary also played great coming up with huge plays, especially on two crucial 4th downs. 

The Bengals have another must-win game this Sunday as they travel to Cleveland to face a division rival. Joe Burrow has struggled against the Browns in his career but the Browns have had a horrible start to their season.
