For the first time in 24 years, Vladimir Putin is heading to Pyongyang to meet with Kim Jong-un, raising concern in Washington. Five years ago Donald Trump became the first US president to meet the North Korean leader when he briefly stepped across the DMZ. With American elections five months away, people at home and abroad are starting to consider what a second Trump term could bring. In a new article for foreign affairs, Trump’s former National Security Adviser Robert O’Brien argues his case for a policy of peace through strength, and he joined the program for an exclusive interview.
