  • Episode 4: Kristy Currie Talks About Being Sick of Living Inside the Box
Kristy is an adventurer and has spent a few months traveling Western United States with her 2 kiddos, adorable dog and their RV. She said it feels great to wake up every day to spend quality time with her kids. She has left behind the rushing around and has embraced being together all day every day. We talk about fears, her why and the importance to of finding me time.    My biggest takeaway: "I wanted to teach my kids there was more than our small little town and community. I wanted to give them that sense of adventure and travel so when they get older they will travel and experience their lives to the fullest.     Kristy is a mama, librarian, and has a successful Modere business. • Episode 3: Brooke Glassburn Chats About the Impact of Kindness on Our Lives
Brooke Glassburn talks about how Random Acts of Christmas Kindness helped her to move through an incredibly difficult time in her life. In the same year she lost her dad and then was told she could not bear children, she knew she had to do something to move forward. During our chat we talked about the HUGE impact her dad had on her life and how he shaped her into the person she is today. We also talk the logistics of her RACK campaigns each year and how she has grace as she works her way through the month of December because not everything works out like she plans.    My biggest takeaway: "you don't know what story someone is living, so you don't know what that smile or those words can do!"   Brooke is a fun, incredibly passionate mama and wife. She creates a RACK campaign each year and makes an impact in her community with tiny ripples of kindness. If you would like to participate in her RACK campaign this year, you can find the list in the Silver Lining Mamas Facebook group:  Facebook.com/groups/thesilverliningmamas And/Or follow #glassburnrackd on Instagram   And as promised, Brooke's morning ritual song LOL Pancakes + Syrup - Biz Markie https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ob-DfIN2l_M   Learn more about Danielle Atkisson and The Silver Lining Life:  Website Facebook

  • Episode 2: Kaliopi Nikitas Talks About Hitting Rock Bottom and the Amazing Life that Came From that Experience

Kaliopi Nikitas is on this episode talking about hitting rock bottom and working her way back. We talked about the impact of death, suicide and chronic illness on her life. All of this could be so heavy, but Kaliopi has a way of storytelling that is not only heartwarming, it's funny as well. She gives so many applicable tips of ways we can stop overcommitting, how to change how we look at things is a way we can move forward even in our darkest times and how we can use our hard times as motivation to keep going.

Biggest takeaway for me: If you are alive you are a force!    Kaliopi Nikitas helps overwhelmed, people-pleasing wonder-women make themselves a priority, so they can change not only their own life, but the world at large. Her personal journey of dealing with an autoimmune disease and radically changing her life has led her to where she is  now: inspiring, illuminating and empowering others while living with authenticity, meaning and awe.   To find out more about Kaliopi you can find her at: https://www.facebook.com/coachkaliopi/ https://kaliopinikitas.com   Learn more about Danielle Atkisson and The Silver Lining Life:  Website Facebook
