This week’s episode is with Sasha Plavsic, the founder of ILIA Beauty, the best selling clean beauty brand on the market today.

Before ILIA, Sasha had a career in branding where she worked both at an agency as well as in house at brands like Saje and Urban Decay. At the age of 30, she couldn’t shake the feeling of being unfulfilled and decided to quit her job, leave the long term relationship she was in and essentially move back in with her parents to give herself time to breathe, regroup and reconnect with herself and her roots. She launched ILIA back in 2011 and completely self funded the brand for the first 8 years of the business.

On this episode we get into Sasha’s journey on how she got to where she is today, we talk about her evolution in business having started two businesses prior to ILIA and what it was about this idea that stuck, having the strength to let go of things and people that no longer serve you, tuning in and listening to your inner voice, not giving into societal pressures, finding your own personal groove and how her own Active Ingredient has evolved throughout the years.
