004 El problema del pecado

El pecado desata fuerzas malignas. No sólo nos afecta a nosotros, sino que afecta a aquéllos que nos rodean y a nuestros descendientes. El pecado seguirá destruyendo porque esa es su naturaleza. Sin embargo, Jesús vino a perdonarnos y a sanarnos de los efectos del pecado.

Jesus came to bring the Kingdom of God. We can’t accept the values of God’s Kingdom unless we allow God to change our minds. God made everything. It all belongs to Him.

002 Todo le pertenece a Dios, pt 1

Jesús vino a establecer el Reino de Dios. No podemos aceptar los valores del Reino de Dios a menos que le permitamos a Dios cambiar nuestro modo de pensar. Dios creó todo; todo le pertenece a Él.

Dones de ministerio

El padre Rick Thomas habla acerca de varios dones de ministerio. Todos los creyentes tienen el don de la sanación, aunque algunos lo tienen en mayor grado que otros.

 

There are gifts of holiness/sanctity and gifts of ministry. Charismatic gifts of ministry need to be based on the foundation of holiness or there will be shipwrecks.

To put our trust in superstitious practices is an insult to God. Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light to deceive us.  Deuteronomy 5:7 and 2 Corinthians 11:14

Supersticiones

One of the conditions for receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit is to repent and quit sinning. We need to have sorrow for sin, which is different than regret.

Arrepentimiento por nuestros pecados

Una de las condiciones para recibir el bautismo del Espíritu Santo es arrepentirse y dejar de pecar. Tenemos que arrepentirnos de nuestros pecados lo cual es diferente del remordimiento.

We shouldn’t be going to Holy Communion if we don’t have a friendship with Jesus. How do we work on our friendship with Him? We need to talk to Jesus in our own words.

Amistad con Jesús

No deberíamos recibir la Santa Comunión si no somos amigos de Jesús. ¿Cómo desarrollamos una amistad con Jesús? Tenemos que hablarle a Jesús con nuestras propias palabras.

To bring our baptism to life we each need to make an act of faith. We know we have faith if we act on what we believe, even when no one is watching. Luke 17:6

Para darle vida a nuestro bautismo, cada uno de nosotros tiene que hacer un acto de fe.  Sabemos que tenemos fe si actuamos conforme a lo que creemos, incluso cuando nadie nos ve.

We need to renounce Satan, his works, his seductions – the trouble is, too often we don’t know what those are. Father Thomas gives some examples. 

Tenemos que renunciar a Satanás, a sus obras y a sus seducciones;  el problema es que no las conocemos.
