In this Catholic Link podcast, Fr. Rob shares his thoughts about adding something new to his podcast and where he found inspiration for his show. In addition to something new, Fr. Rob discusses the state of the priesthood today. His considerations on priests' mental health and the various demands to keep up within a parish. Priests can be responsible for many different things in a parish. A priest is responsible for the spiritual health of the parish and its member as well as the day-to-day operations of the parish including: maintenance, finances, visitors, sacraments, and the list goes on. Fr. Rob encourages listeners to reach out to their priests and get to know them.

Perhaps we can all do a better job inviting them to dinner. Our priests have a lot of responsibilities on their plate and a simple thank you can go a long way.
