Meet Maddy Sloan. For the past 11 months, she has worked in Josh’s personal team, firstly as a Buyer Manager and now as Lead Qualifier. After being encouraged by her mother to try her hand at real estate, given her proclivity for building relationships, Maddy shadowed a local real estate agent. However, she soon found herself in real estate administration followed by a Communications & Business university degree which she quickly decided wasn’t the right fit.

It’s an interesting time in real estate. The market might be tightening and listings may seem more difficult to secure but that’s no reason to lose motivation. Avoid living in fear and take a different approach: this is your chance to prove your worth as a real estate agent.

Agents, now is the time to stay focused and get your foundations right - set up your procedures, document everything and structure your team perfectly - as well as adopt key daily habits to manage your health and stress levels. Taking extreme ownership in this way will ensure your success now and into the future, no matter the type of marketplace you're in.
