  • FDR3394 Global Marxist Society - Call In Show - August 26th, 2016
Question 1: [2:03] - “As a 23-year-old residing in suburban America, I have to endure pressures from the far left in my everyday life. I see Western civilization scolded in class rooms and have concerns where their movement is going. I consistently see the top 1% of wealthy people being attacked over the large amount of capital that they managed to acquire.”

“Considering the fact that Americans who earn over 32k a year are in the global 1%, where do you see this movement going? Am I going to be hearing how Ethiopians make 5 cents on the American dollar? Can an argument be made that Western politicians and institutions, are moving us towards a global Marxist society?”

Question 2: [59:33] - “I am a biracial independent who leans to the right, having been a democrat before I went to college. I am in a happy relationship with my liberal, Bernie loving girlfriend. I’ve dated so many other types of girls during my college days, that I’m at a point where I’ve learned what I want in a woman and am convinced my current girlfriend is perfect for me, regardless of our political affiliations.”

“I’m an engineer who just wants to live a happy, successful life without having politics needlessly forced into my day-to-day thinking. Despite that, I find that every now and then, there are instances where my girlfriend and I disagree on a matter, which is perfectly fine. However, I find that she’ll say something with a level of inaccuracy that vexes me, and I’ll give a not-so-eloquent response. Is there a way to best handle these isolated incidents where we can avoid an awkward situation?”

Question 3: [1:29:00] - "With increasing regulations in the US, such as minimum wage increases in many cities and states, the cost of labor is rising higher and higher. At the same time the free market is making the cost of automation of many processes lower and lower. It seems we are on the cusp of an automation revolution as a way of the free market trying to compensate for this hyper-regulatory climate we are living in.”

“There are some people that are talking about this leading to increased social unrest as more and more people lose their jobs, especially in the tertiary fields like customer service where much of America's work force currently resides. There is even talk from the tech giants of automation replacing much of the programming field eventually. Some people are going so far as to propose a Universal Base Income to try and head off this potentially looming societal disaster. I try to hold out that like the agricultural and industrial revolutions, this revolution will simply empower us to find new ways of creating wealth with less physical labor but it is so hard to see what the unseen hand of the market has in store for us.”

“The only definitive positive I can see so far from this is that the cost of many goods will drop precipitously which will certainly help those on the lowest rung of the economic ladder. Certainly decreasing regulations could stave of this uncertainty for longer but that is a hard pill to sell to the American people at this moment."

“What do you think the consequences of this revolution will have in store for the human species, good or bad? How do you think it will affect first world nations versus second and third world nations? Do you think this will finally help us jump the last hurdles to becoming a type I civilization which could create possible new opportunities to fulfill our needs to be productive members of the species or do you think it could lead to even more nihilistic hedonism?"

Question 4: [1:54:57] - “I have been in the US Army reserve for 7 years. I joined in 2009 after graduating high school. After my initial training, I spent three years at a Senior Military College studying to become an Army Officer.”

“What I experienced during these last 7 years was a Military hamstrung by bureaucracy and political correctness. Obesity in the military is an epidemic from the generals to the privates. Drill Sergeants can't stress out a trainee, corrective training for unacceptable behavior cannot be more than 10 unaltered push-ups. Drill Sergeants cannot control the diets of grossly overweight soldiers, meanwhile these same drill sergeants are expected to prepare young men and women for combat.”

“Most of my officer training was equal parts land navigation, physical training, and sexual harassment prevention. I honestly look back on my experiences there as a joke, and I am glad that I did not complete the program.”

“This last year I have obtained a decent job that provides a decent living and I am currently trying to leave the military. I informed my unit of my decision in June. I was told just this month, that the process takes months, and my paperwork has not even been started. This is a Military that is not only expected to defend its own country, but many other countries around the world.”

“Is the majority of the US military not meant to fight anymore? Is it a backdoor way of getting more people on a form of welfare state control?”

  • FDR3392 HIT THE NAIL ON THE COFFIN - Call In Show - August 24th, 2016
Question 1: [2:37] - “I have been fortunate to find individuals like you who challenge my thoughts. After losing my 16-year-old cousin to gang violence. I found myself thinking deeply how to fix the south side Chicago area, but slowly found the truth of why it is so difficult to do. If the racial climate in America continues where do you see our great country headed?”

Question 2: [54:21] - “One of the most difficult moral dilemmas I've been attempting to so solve is the limits of moral integrity. The impetus for this dilemma was spawned by the movie The Dark Knight. In the movie, as the Joker speaks to Batman about the police, he says, ‘See, their morals, their code... it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be. I'll show you, when the chips are down, these... these civilized people? They'll eat each other. See, I'm not a monster, I'm just ahead of the curve.’ This is a recurring theme in the movie--the idea that people are corruptible under the right circumstances. Depending on the person, when situations become desperate enough, they will abandon their morals.

“Must a person abide by petty morality even when there is much at stake? For example, let's say that a madman is chasing after a man, and the man runs into my house to hide. Meanwhile, the madman comes knocking on my door, describing the man and asking me if I've seen him. Would it be wrong to lie in this circumstance in order to divert the madman and prevent him from killing the fleeing man?”

“Additionally, must a person always be moral even when it involves the most frivolous circumstances? For instance, let's say that I need a pencil and I see that my roommate has one laying on his desk. If I took the pencil, then it would be considered stealing, but must I really abide by ethics in this case?”

Question 3: [1:27:27] - “How do we fight liberal media? What actions can we take to put them out of power? What is the most effective action we can take? How can we convince people around of the corrupt media?”

Question 4: [2:07:28] - “Where do you see the free market heading if Hillary Clinton gets elected into office?”

  • FDR3386 I’m a Red-Pilled Police Wife - Call In Show - August 17th, 2016
Question 1: [2:22] – “I am a red-pilled police wife. My husband patrols a high crime, majority low income black neighborhood in Milwaukee. We live and work in a city that has seen violent crime spike recently, in part due to the Ferguson effect.”

“I’ve seen so many parallel stories in the news, and on your show, fearing it could be my family in the headlines at any time. I’m grateful that you’ve taken the time to bring facts to bear that push back against the mainstream media and Blank Lives Matter narrative.”

“Many times I feel like a woman without a tribe. On a personal level, how do I reconcile my interest in Philosophy with the reality of my daily life, and my love and duty to support my husband? Do you have any advice on how to weather the storm?”

Question 2: [1:18:28] - “As a young black conservative my ideas are not exactly mainstream. Most of my peers are very liberal and most older adults vote blue - no matter what. Your show and the internet in general fostered my desire to become a free thinker. How can I engage my peers in the black community (or leftists in general) to get them to at least question the democratic party, what it stands for and to be more open to moderate or conservative views?”

Question 3: [1:52:16] – “I am a student, a Marine Corps veteran, a musician, teacher of music and a conservative that is attending university in a very liberal area. I try to keep an open mind and understand that my opinions are subject to change with new evidence. Given the indoctrination in American universities today, how can someone like me differentiate between an instructor (particularly one I may have a great deal of respect for) pushing a narrative and something I should take under genuine consideration when my views or beliefs are challenged?”

Question 4: [2:35:47] – “I am a first generation Ethiopian American, my parents and some family members came to America for a better opportunity like all immigrants. Growing up I would always overhear family discussions about politics in Ethiopia.”

“As passionate and sometimes toxic as these discussions get, the arguments were relatively the same. One side of the family is in favor of the current government, the other is not. With the knowledge that I have now listening to shows like yours and many others, it has puzzled me looking back how none of my family members, let alone Ethiopians that I have met in general, have ever argued for a smaller government or a free market economy.”

“My family members had to live through communism for a short period time and even the current government that overthrew the communist party is just a Dictatorship disguised as a Democracy. These people have felt and still feel the effects of what a corrupt government can do, and yet all they argue is if the current ruling party should be replaced or not. Why is it so difficult for Ethiopians to understand the importance of a limited government and having a free market?”

  • FDR3387 Bald Ape Meat Puppets - Call In Show - August 19th, 2016
Question 1: [2:30] - “How can charitable organizations, especially in third world countries, make a positive impact without creating dependency and negatively affecting local economies? Simply put, how do we help without hurting? I have been working with the same non-profit organization in a very poor part of a Central American country for nearly 10 years.”

“This issue has weighed heavily on my mind since I've come to understand how people respond to incentives and how toxic the welfare state can be to society, in large part due to the influence of the arguments and evidence you've presented in your show. Specifically, I'm greatly concerned about our Adopt-a-Student programs (reduced incentives to earn/work) and medical/dental clinics which compete with other local clinics using tax-free US donations.”

Question 2: [41:08] – “How do we get women to be patriotic again? Women in the West have been taught to question their instincts when it comes to real threats, and overreact to imaginary threats. I see this with the female response to the immigration crisis. The bigger problem is they don't realize the real threats, both physical and existential, that our men face.”

“With one brother in the military and another in law enforcement, I know whose lives will be on the line if things get bad, but most of my female friends seem to be fine with letting the migration of those who don't support Western values to continue unabated, while complaining about their husband not understanding how hard the morning routine is with the kids. Why do women treat strangers better than their loved ones, and how do we reignite patriotism, and a love of Western men, in women?”

Question 3: [1:22:34] - “What evidence can you use to establish the possibility of God? I'm not looking for absolute proof of God exists, as that's impossible, as with the converse - definitively establishing God does not exist. Just ideas, scientific theories, and personal observations that would fall into the ‘God is possible’ column.”

Question 4: [2:15:48] - “I'm a Venezuelan immigrant to America and many fellow Venezuelans and American media portray Trump as the American Chavez. How would you compare these two characters? How would you compare Obama and Chavez? What are the parallels between the situation in Venezuela before Chavez and Communism and the current situation in the US, and what are the differences?”
