  • FDR3252 The Danger of Hope - Call In Show - April 5th, 2016
Question 1: [2:57] - “From our observations, Ted Cruz is receiving significant support from the Objectivist online community. Some say they support him because, while flawed, he's still the most principled pro-freedom candidate available. Others explicitly support him only because he's not Donald Trump. This is coming from a community that has historically identified religion as the gravest threat to the culture, to the point that key Objectivist intellectuals endorsed voting Democrat in 2004 and 2008. Yet now that the Republicans have a viable non-religious candidate, Trump has morphed into the new gravest threat to America.”

“The mental gymnastics we've seen to justify this position have been truly astounding and suggest some visceral emotion is driving the anti-Trump/pro-Cruz response. As long-time Objectivists ourselves, it's disturbing to us to see this coming from a community with a professed commitment to reason. What do you think is the root of this response to Trump, and what does it mean for the hope of turning the culture toward true commitment to reason?”

Question 2: [1:38:58] - “In a recent show, in context of the Migrant Crisis, you expressed that you were ‘on the fence’ about whether Europe ‘deserves to be saved.’ First, you should know that most Europeans that still have a spine have a distinct dislike for generalizations that involve all of Europe, since that covers everything from the lazy and corrupt Greece to the hard-working and innovative Switzerland – and arguably, a good chunk of Turkey and Russia.”

“And while the U.S. government gives a decent helping of freedom to its own citizens, you could well argue that the people of Switzerland or Poland are in many ways more free. And said nations are not involved in whole-sale murder and suppression of freedom in countries like Iraq and Afghanistan. So can you honestly say that the U.S. deserves to be saved, more than we do? Or that there's some other country out there that you think is more deserving? Or have you simply given up on the whole world?”

Question 3: [2:08:38] - After the immigration crisis - what will be the future of dating in Europe? How it will it impact native European men and minorities when it comes to dating European women?

Question 4: [2:51:17] - “My hometown and the city that I am currently living in: Hong Kong, is listed on the Heritage Foundation's Index of Economic Freedom as the world's freest economy. And as such, I have noticed that many libertarians seem to look up to the city as either someplace that they will want to move to or as an example that the west can emulate. However, in my honest, personal experience, the city is perhaps one of the most nonintellectual and anti-philosophical places that I have ever been in, especially when compared to the West (even with all the madness with political correctness and the like). What would your advice be to someone that lives in a society that is simultaneously the freest in the world economically, and yet is utterly philosophically empty at the same time?”

  • FDR3251 The Clintons' War on Women | Roger Stone and Stefan Molyneux
Hillary Clinton is running for president as an “advocate of women and girls,” but there is another shocking side to her story that has been carefully covered up—until now. In the groundbreaking book "The Clintons' War on Women," New York Times bestselling author
Roger Stone and researcher and alternative historian Robert Morrow map the arc of Bill and Hillary’s Anyone who cares about the future of the United States will want to read this tell-all, exposing the appalling, unvarnished, and ugly truth about the Clintons.

Roger Stone joins Stefan Molyneux to discuss the appalling history of the Clinton family, Hillary's current campaign for President, what Bernie Sanders won't say that could win him the Democrat nomination, the political establishments opposition to Donald Trump and what to expect at the Republican convention in Cleveland, Ohio.

Roger Stone is a well-known political operative and pundit. A veteran of nine national presidential campaigns and has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents. He is author of the New York Times bestseller “The Man Who Killed Kennedy: The Case Against LBJ,” as well as “The Clintons' War on Women” and “Jeb! and the Bush Crime Family: The Inside Story of an American Dynasty.”

  • FDR3250 The Caucasian Curse - Call In Show - April 1st, 2016
Question 1: [2:02] - “I am a parent of an incredibly bright and sociable 4-year-old boy. My wife and I live with our boy and his newborn little brother on a rural property owned by my wife's parents, and there is a large adjoining house next to ours with a family of 6 in it. They seem like lovely people and their two younger daughters are of similar age to our son, so he has become quite enamored with them and loves to play with them on the trampoline with them and talks about them a lot.”

“We've noticed manipulative behaviour from the girls and so have recently capped the amount he can play with them. We've also made sure he plays within earshot of us as a number of times early on we lost sight of him and found him watching violent cartoons with the girls. We have often heard the father next door yelling quite angrily at the girls, and tonight I have overheard a rather disturbing and long screaming match happening next door. I am feeling like I need to speak to the parents next door or maybe stop my child playing with their younger girls.”

“I'm a little lost for what to do. I do want to foster a neighborly relationship, and I don't want to punish the young girls next door by taking away their playfriend, but I am concerned that through the girls my son is being exposed to a culture that is abusive. I am interested to hear your thoughts on how to deal with possibly abusive neighbours and how to protect our son without creating further conflict or abandoning potentially abused children.”

Question 2: [55:33] - “As a naturalized American citizen with secular upbringing, and a religious adult past, I am currently in a relationship which is the longest and most stable I have ever had, but I am wondering if it is time to end it because I feel painfully dissatisfied. She treats me well, but the relationship seems to lack a few key elements for me. Most of the romantic relationships in my life have been minimally abusive at best, and significantly abusive at worst, and I am seeking the correct path here?”

Question 3: [1:47:47] - “Is it okay to be manipulative as long as you know that your end goal will benefit the person you are manipulating? What if you think that the end goal is good, but it accidentally has a negative effect on others? Is intention the only factor that gives a manipulative act a moral tint, or is it outcome?”

Question 4: [2:09:22] - “What do you think about creating a movement to form a free society completely outside of any existing government? How viable is it to bring people together from all around the world online and then focus that energy into actually creating a free society with land purchased or somehow obtained contractually from an existing country? What would you see as the major challenges?”

  • FDR3249 Will They Steal The Election From Bernie Sanders?
During the 2016 Presidential Election cycle, the Republican Primary has been the focus of the mainstream media and the candidacy of Hillary Clinton has been seen as inevitable.

Much like Republican frontrunner Donald Trump has changed the plans of the Republican party establishment - Senator Bernie Sanders continues to be a thorn in the side of Clinton and the Democratic National Committee.

The 2016 Democratic National Convention will be held on July 25th, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. With increasing awareness of scandals involving Hillary Clinton – including an upcoming interview with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey – Sanders won’t relent in his battle to become the Democrat nominee for President of the United States.

Much like Trump’s battle against the Republican establishment and the large corporate interests funding the other Presidential candidates, Sanders has faced an uphill battle against the Democrat establishment and the lobbyist/special interest groups which resist political change of any kind.

  • FDR3246 Imaginary Testicle Friends- Call In Show - March 30th, 2016
Question 1: [0:00] - “Why does Angela Merkel have this policy of letting refugees come in and destroy Germany and Europe? Does Merkel have an alternative agenda? Is it true that the refugees could have been (and were) taken care of in camps in Syria, and did not have to flee into Europe?"

Question 2: [1:25:12] - “Could shifting the money creation process from banks to individuals be the best basis for a better human society in the future?”

Question 3: [2:07:11] - “My whole life. It felt like the black sheep. Is that genetic or based on his family raised me? Which came first: they treated me differently therefore I felt and acted in rebellion or I acted in defiance and they treated me differently because of it.”

“I am a white-Anglo Midwestern American, the whole bit. I was never attracted or drawn to males from my ‘tribe.’ I had this sense of ‘dead end’ if I even entertained the idea of being with an Anglo American. I can't explain it. Even if I connected emotionally or intellectually I would feel a huge block if romance even entered the equation. It was such a strong and obvious thing that it was sort of a joke among my friends.”

“I was drawn towards black or Latino men, later I dated a Russian, white, but not American. I'm happily married to an Israeli Jew. Neither of us are religious. I pondered this in the matrix of r/K selection and wondered if I'm a lone wolf out there trying to stir up the gene pool. I thought of lions, how some break from the pack to join others. My husband basically did the same. I felt my past was very K by force, growing up in a strict Roman Catholic household. Once I left home I was totally R and since having kids, getting back to strong K sensibilities. Does this have any ties to r/K selection?”

  • FDR3243 The Black Man's Burden - Call In Show - March 25th, 2016
Question 1: [1:53] - “I live in Belgium and would like to discuss the reaction to the Brussels Terrorist Attack from people within my country – as it frustrates me more than anything. I witness people with a “life will go on mentality” where they are suck in states of denial and helplessness.”

Question 2: [1:27:22] - “How does an individuals emotional maturity and overall intelligence impact their ability to be successful at capital management? How can philosophy help with financial management? What impact do the emotions, fear and greed, have in financial markets?”

Question 3: [2:04:01] - “I am an African American male - had a 4.3 GPA in high school, scored in the top 2% of SAT takers, got accepted into an Ivy League School, and have a full ride from undergrad and graduate school all the way through a PhD. I'm also on the guaranteed medical school path which entails that I if I keep up my GPA, I am guaranteed a spot in medical school without having to take the MCAT."

"Because of my accomplishments. I've always been considered a genius by my family - the one who's going to become a doctor and take care of everyone. The ‘don't forget me when you get famous’ guy. Though this often bugged me, I dealt with it. Unfortunately, this has spread to not only my family, but the entire ‘black’ community at large as well. I've had numerous teachers, principals, religious leaders, and mentors tell me that I need to ‘give back’ and become a leader for my race once I make it to wherever I'm going."

"I realize that there exist multiple problems within the African American community, but I'm a little cynical as to how that directly coincides with my success. I really want to go into health politics, so I am not really interested in race issues per say; rather, I want to help with poverty related health issues (some correlation, cloudy causation). Do you believe successful minorities have the ‘obligation’ to facilitate the restoration of their communities? If yes, monetarily? Through investments? Through advocation?”
