Well you’re in luck because on this podcast we bring on Dr. Chelsea Smith who is a New Grad PT and after working in the corporate world for the first 2 years of her career, realized that it was not for her. So, 6 months ago Chelsea opened up her mobile Cash PT Practice called Clutch Integrative Physical Therapy.

Chelsea now creates her own schedule, and goes to see patient’s in the comfort of their own home, while still doing the things she loves such as working with special needs kids, working with swimmers, and spending time with her family.

Sounds nice doesn’t it.. well don’t worry she will tell you there is a lot of work not he front end to get going, but her key is to stay consistent and get your name out there.

Chelsea also shares her struggles as a New Grad and what she felt school did a good job preparing you for as a PT and the things that school may have left out.

Dr. Smith explains how to set up your Mobile Cash PT practice as far as documentation systems, liability insurance, overhead, etc..

Dr. Krystyna Holland is a new grad PT who is building her brand and clientele as a pelvic floor and orthopedic therapist. 

Like many therapists, Krystyna's journey to becoming a PT was laced with athletic injuries, but it didn't just inspire her to help others who are hurt. She stresses the importance of how the patient’s experiences leading up to an injury can impact their care. She experienced injuries of her own going through PT school, and she shares insights as both a developing therapist and patient. Krystyna learned a lot from her vestibular therapist while recovering from a car accident, and she shares tips and tricks to make treating the vestibular system less stressful.

Krystyna describes herself as an orthopedic therapist who also treats the pelvic floor. She shows us how to screen for pelvic floor dysfunction, questions to ask, and how to intervene through breathing and core activation. You will be a better clinician just by listening to Krystyna and applying what she teaches.

She also shares her experiences marketing for a private practice in the Denver area. One of her main takeaways is you have to take a step back from being in your business in order to accurately assess it and take the necessary steps to progress. She has had a blog since PT school and she's finally taken the leap and started her own online business.
