Alignment is defined as: a correct position in relation to something else. There are two things we wrestle with on a day to day basis: 1. Our will 2. God's will. Each of our lives has an assignment attached to it, but if not properly aligned with the assignment giver, we live a life according to how we feel, instead of his will. You can try to help people and people can try to help you all they want, but if both are out of alignment, nothing will change. A car out of alignment, can develop serious problems if not corrected quickly. They are harder to steer and do not respond well to changes in direction. In order to be in alignment, are you willing to be corrected?
Pivot is nothing more than the process of change, a strategic change. Humans are the greatest adaption machines in the world. We are by nature, made to adapt. Put a human in any kind of stressful or competitive condition and eventually, over time, the body and mind will adapt and learn to overcome that situation. This is our superpower, and not enough people use it efficiently. I believe there are two key things needed to survive in this life: 1. Persistence 2. The power to adapt/pivot. Without a pivot, you will likely be stuck in the same place.
Stuck is defined as: unable to move from a particular position or place, or unable to change a situation. Oftentimes we are stuck mentally long before it ever manifests itself. The way we process things the incorrect way, is just a matter of time, before the inevitable is apparent. In order to get unstuck, you have to realize you are stuck. Getting unstuck is life changing, if you actually change. You should have produced fruit of your change. Stuck is a lack of momentum, and you have settled for the level you are on. Stuck is a choice, not a life sentence.
People are all constructed differently, different strength, and weaknesses. But it goes farther than that. It's a mentality. Life is ten percent of what happens to you and ninety percent of how you react. In other words, it is how you take it, how you accept that pain, that challenge, that gift, and continue. Some people can, and others simply cannot. it is either because of how they are made, or how they were brought up. It is a matter of being cut from a different cloth. Being cut from a different cloth is a unique awareness of oneself. To be cut from a different cloth, is not being arrogant or to think that you are better than the next person. It is a: mentality, a mindset, a perspective. Your attitude must be like: Envy me, Hate me, Rate me, the bottom line, You Ain't Me! Three types of people: Those who watch what happens, those who wonder what happens and those who make things happen.
Everyday we wake up, we are given 86,400 second. Time is one of the most precious commodities we will ever get. The question is, how do we get the most out of the time, we've been given? We maximize our time and align it with our purpose, destiny, gifting and talents. They say time is money, but money cannot buy time. So if we cannot buy time, and you cannot store it, then we must become experts in managing it. Life should not be measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take away our breath's.
Have you ever had to endure anything? Have you ever had to wait something out? In order to be successful in life, you are going to have to endures something and overcome some obstacles. So we must understand out the gate, that we are going to have to endure some stuff. What type of endurer are you? Are you a complainer or do you work with what you got until your change comes. Endurance is defined as: the ability or strength to continue or last, especially despite fatigue, stress, or other adverse conditions. You must wake up every morning with a Fresh 24 mentality, with your mind already made up. Don't give up now, you came to far to turn around, your breakthrough is right around the corner. You may seem to be at the end of your rope, but tie a knot and hold on. You Got This!!!
Have you ever had to wait? Who likes to wait? Waiting sometimes feels like punishment. Have you ever said, "If I had only waited and been patient?" Especially when you've waited and you are disappointed afterwards. That puts pressure on the next waiting opportunity (what if it's like last time?). Waiting can be difficult if you are impatient. If you are going to be effective, you are going to have to learn how to wait, not just waiting, but being patient while you wait. How much further could you be down the road, if you would have waited? How many hard aches and pain could you have avoided, if you would have been patient? You cannot expect to endure the waiting period without patience. There will be periods in life that you will have to wait, but not knowing why or how long is not half as important, as knowing who you are waiting for.
The number one question we ask ourselves is, what is my gift? What is my purpose? Your purpose is something that you have to discover. In order to understand your purpose, you must properly identify what purpose is. Purpose is defined as: the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exist. Most people get gifts and purpose mixed up. Most people think that their gift is their purpose. You can have an awesome gift and never be in your purpose. People miss their purpose, because they are led by their gift. Your gift will never replace your purpose. Be in purpose, and not just in your gift.
Oftentimes circumstances in life tries to make you become fearful and bow down, but "A Made Up Mind" is not something that you do along the way. It is already settled, convinced and ready for whatever comes it's way. A made up mind has an attitude of however, whenever and whoever, it absolutely makes not difference. At some point you have to decide, either you are a thermometer or a thermostat. That comes with a understanding of who you are. Regardless of what you are going through, the challenges you are currently facing, that is no excuse for you not to be in purpose. Knowing your purpose and being in purpose are two different things. Being in purpose is a decision. Remember your purpose serves a purpose, and you had a purpose long before anyone had an opinion about you. Purpose cannot be bullied, intimidated or pushed. Tell your situation, trial, issue, storm and purpose stoppers, you thought you had me, but my mind was already made up!!! Purpose + Faith= God's Deliverance.
