Wee bit of a @headrushenterprise takeover on the show this weekend. @djedenburns is one of our favourite people, so we're pretty sad he is about to leave NZ again. But it means he will reunite with the Head Rush gang, including co-conspirator Vanessa Worm, and HR signee DJ Chrysalis - so it's not all bad? Plus, he has just put out his latest opus - the 'Paws, A Taieri Story' 10" - for Munich's @publicpossession. It's dance music made by cats behind the RSA in Mosgiel. Too right. And we just had to throw @djchrisellis in to the mix for this one too. The Melb-via-Chch artist shows such depth and sincerity via his productions and Touching Radio broadcast for Kiss FM, but can also just cut loose by releasing blinding Sheryl Crow edits for Head Rush. He is set to tear up the dance up once again next week with an EP for Rave Tuga under his DJ Paulo alias. He goes all out with a mix of breaks, electro, and unreleased bits from him and his label.

After that, it is time for @DJ-SWEAT. The Tāmaki Makaurau artist is a quietly productive creative force, with music that veers from ambient film scores to hard-hitting club tracks. We celebrate her craft with a tense and percussive mix, ahead of her appearance in support of Eartheater at Whammy this Saturday, c/o Community Garden.

Air Max '97 was raised in Dunedin, went to Art School there, partied at Crave, listened to Radio One. Now, the UK-based producer, designer, and DJ is part of a vanguard at the forefront of contemporary club music. Jann Dahle aka Fjordfunk aka @kango is a somewhat unsung hero of the Norwegian Disco scene. He began making music in Tromsø in the 90s alongside Rune Linbæk and Bjørn Torske, a critical point for a burgeoning scene that has since taken over the globe. And then, after a meteoric rise in Berlin in the mid-00s, he vanished. Earlier this year, he presented his first recorded work in 11 years - his album Infinite Zest. We are blessed to share a studio mix of his new and unreleased music.

To close, we hear from @davidepirasmusic, a DJ, producer, and live performer from Northern Italy. 2019 has been a hectic time for Davide, with releases on @subwax-bcn, @blindallies, and @carpetandsnares. His latest effort is the shapeshifiting Beyond Our Reach EP on @jayclarke-official's @blackaxon, which we celebrate with an expansive mix.
