At a time when I felt very lonely, the Lord revealed to me that what I was really longing for was a closer walk with Him. He showed me that I already had "a friend that sticketh closer than a brother" (Proverbs 18:24). Let's take a look at Psalm 86 to see how the Lord fulfills the qualities of a good friend and how we can learn to be that kind of friend to others.
