Meet Charlene Dimas-Peinado, the President & CEO of Wellnest, a $33 Million health and housing organization in Los Angeles. After a successful career as a psychotherapist, mostly helping children deal with and heal from trauma, Charlene took a leap of faith into a leadership role that will change her life and affect and improve the lives of thousands of people in her community.

Seeing first-hand the positive effects of healing past trauma and the importance of mental health services made it easy for Charlene to develop a big-picture perspective on how to lead Wellnest, one of the region's most innovative behavioral health and housing providers with 100 years of existence. Still, she had an interesting struggle with the Latino way of seeing life as a race to overwork everyone worth being told.
