Traveling & Meeting People are Joana’s greatest Passions! Graduated in Hotel Management, at the age of 26 decided
to start her own business – she opened 2 Guesthouses in Lagos. Freedom to put her ideas and vision into practice, as well as geographical freedom, were always her biggest motivations. The search for more knowledge and the desire to expand her networking made her move to Lisbon. Many doors opened to her with the launch of “Eat at a Local’s” platform. Helping other entrepreneurs launching their own
projects become also a project with mentoring and career coaching sessions.

In the meantime, the pandemic arrived, and all her projects are on stand-by, but she found an opportunity with Digital
Nomads! She launched herself into a new project, which according to her words is “the best of my worlds: tourism, entrepreneurship & networking”. 31 ST August was “Lagos
Digital Nomads” 1 st Meet Up, and since then, the group has been growing. Many Digital Nomads are coming to Lagos and she is now working on the website. Once the website is ready, she is pretty sure that more people will know about Lagos as a great destination for Digital Nomads and also

February 15, 2021 How to start a startup
Meet Radhika, she is an entrepreneur based out of Toronto Canada. She runs 5 educational facilities in the Toronto area and has been doing this for approximately eight years now.
Growing up Radhika never thought that she would be running a business of her own. Infact she was a science student at the University of Texas in the US studying to be a doctor. But life had a different plan for Radhika. After graduating university she moved to Canada to pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor and while she was preparing for that she started tutoring on the side at local libraries just at her free time.
At that moment, she decided to take a leap of faith and give this business a shot. Vidya-A Learning Experience was hence born. After 8 years later, she now has 5 learning centres, developed an online tutoring program, and looking to keep expanding more in the future and influencing minds of our future leaders.
In addition to this, just this past year, she decided to get into custom jewelry designing as well.
