Nl: Esmé stond bij het keukenraam en keek naar buiten.
En: Esmé stood at the kitchen window and looked outside.

Nl: De gekleurde herfstbladeren vielen langzaam naar beneden.
En: The colorful autumn leaves were slowly falling down.

Nl: Het was een prachtige dag in de afgesloten gemeenschap.
En: It was a beautiful day in the gated community.

Nl: Alles was bijna klaar voor het jaarlijkse herfstfestival.
En: Everything was almost ready for the annual autumn festival.

Nl: Esmé had wekenlang plannen gemaakt.
