#75: Sophie Rebeil is a 24-year old, second-year law student at Georgetown University Law Center. Born and raised in the sunny beaches of Orange County, she is one of five children as well as a first-generation college student. During her childhood, she spent most of it focused on her academics and if she wasn’t reading or writing, she was at her dance studio where she was a competitive dancer. Sophie attributes both her equal focus on excelling in academics and her creative endeavors in the dance world as a strong role in who she has become today.

 

She graduated from University of Southern California in 2019 with Magna Cum Laude honors, and a degree in Business Administration and a minor in Law and Public Policy. During her time at USC, she was a member of the USC Song Girls, USC’s Official Dance Team, and served as captain her senior year. Sophie solidified her interest in attending law school while at USC during her internship at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. Upon graduating from USC, she received the highest honor USC bestows on its undergraduate students for her exemplary service to the university and she attended UC Irvine School of Law for one year before transferring to her dream school, Georgetown Law.

Sophie plans to pursue a career in litigation and outside of her career, she is passionate about a wide variety of things, including female advocacy. In her free time, she loves to mentor young women, go to the beach, work out, and take dance classes.
