  • A Journey of Resources: Our Mental Health Stories, Part 2

We explore some recent life experiences to see how decades of cultivating resources for our mental health plays out IRL.

A crowded airport, a questionable mammogram result and a condescending doctor…. all give opportunity to practice the resources, tools and strategies we have acquired to address the very real, very common mental health challenges, stress and uncertainty found in the moments of daily life.

  • This is a Hard One: Our Mental Health Stories

A wide-reaching and very personal conversation about mental health. We touch on topics including anxiety, depression, self-harm, substance use and more, we recognize these are darker topics and can be hard at times. As you listen, honor yourself and if it feels too uncomfortable, turn it off–take care of yourself, first and always.

This is a hard one for us, not because we don’t have a desire to talk about mental health (in fact quite the opposite–this topic is a primary driving force for both of us.) And not because we hold shame or stigma around sharing our personal stories. But because it’s really scary to be vulnerable, to be honest and to put our lived experiences out there in the world. But that’s what we have committed to each other and you all–to be curious and to hold space for all aspects of wellness.

Our deepest hope is that if you, too, have struggled with mental health or are currently struggling you feel less alone in hearing our stories and that this supports you in some way.

You are not alone. We need you. We love you.

If you are in a dark, hard place, feeling like you don’t want to live and/or have thoughts about hurting yourself dial: 9-8-8 to be connected to the The Suicide & Crisis Lifeline in the United States. This prevention network of mental health professionals provides 24/7 service via a toll-free hotline. It is free and available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress. The number is 9-8-8

  • Boundaries & Expectations: Holiday Edition!

Boundaries: what they are, how they help, and concrete and imaginative ways to be clear and kind to ourselves & others.

We question the to-do lists and expectations of the holiday seasons and get curious about how to plan, get support, and simply do less to have a cultivated experience in line with your own personal values and vision for the season.

If the mad-dash marathon of Halloween–Thanksgiving–Christmas–New Year’s has you simultaneously excited for the magic and exhausted by #allthethings, listen in for new ideas to respond to the energy of the season and care for yourself through it all.

  • Untethering from Time and Money

This week’s episode was recorded live, together, and on location from Los Cabos, Mexico. We were whisked away on an all-expenses paid travel experience, and it inspired us to continue the conversation from last week’s episode ("Well-Spent") reflecting on how we spend our money.

We explore what it's like to not have time or money impact our decision-making. We explore the messaging we received as children, how to deeply listen to our bodies & needs, and how to cultivate space to deeply listen to another person's perspective... even if you don’t agree 100%.

  • Well-Spent: Ethical Shopping

We explore financial wellness through the belief that shopping, gift-giving, and spending is an opportunity to express our values, voice, power, and abundant joy.

We look at B-corps, non-profits, experiential gifts, memberships, local artisans, network marketers, and more for opportunities to feel really good about money well-spent.

We have TONS of specific ethical brands we love and purchase from everyone year. Shoot either Adriana or Lea a DM for our favorites!

  • Two Sides of the Same Coin: Your Hosts at Work

Who are your hosts when they’re not on the mic?

Lea & Adriana tend to come from two different sides of the same question: how do we integrate as a whole, embodied, authentic self to achieve our goals? We both offer coaching and support to guide individuals towards feeling better and showing up in the world as a whole person.

Adriana specializes in coaching for entrepreneurs, business & non-profit leaders, network marketers, and artists to explore their vision and driving purpose and communicate that to their target audience. Through online courses and coaching, she helps people increase their impact and influence, particularly in the online & digital space.

Lea specializes in coaching and guiding people in need of solutions around mental health, particularly anxiety & depression, challenging physical health conditions like Fibromyalgia, IBS and migraines and all of us seeking to create healthy lifestyle habits and actually achieve those health related New Year's Resolutions for diet, exercise, weight, sleep, stress management and more.

  • Shift Happens: Moving Out of Burnout

We continue the conversation about burnout. We hope our exploration of what burnout feels like and what we’ve been trying (including zooming out, checking in with the season, finding fun, and being honest with ourselves) created an a-ha or perspective shifting moment of your own inner knowing. And most importantly, that you know you are not alone in this experience.

We hope that this conversation allows you to feel seen if you find yourself similarly depleted & drained.
