Steve and Steve are in this week to talk about UK inflation and US corporate earnings. But first, there are a couple of things to get out of the way.
We’ve had some questions from HullInvestor, about who the Steves look up to and what they see as their best and worst investments have been. The answers might surprise you!
After that, it’s on to the UK macro situation. Falling inflation and a weakening pound has been pushing share prices up, so why is Steve W concerned?
Then it’s on to ASML, which is down after its earnings this week. Steve D thought they looked pretty go, though, so what’s bothering the market?
Next, we’re looking at Tesla. With the earnings report reflecting weakness in the EV market and discounting prices, why does the stock keep going up?
Lastly, we’re finishing with Netflix. Strong growth in users hasn’t been matched by an increase in revenues, so what is Steve D doing about it?
