Carter would later fall into deep meth addiction after leaving the army. I got a special mobile podcast with my homie zipper calling from Colorado springs. Growing up All over the US he talked about his gateway into addiction being childhood trauma being abused at a very young age. He would be living a life full drugs, gangs and violence making it to southern California. With a severe addiction to meth and being in out of the prison system. I have my friend Kimmi on the podcast. Growing up in Poway she started drinking and experimenting in high school. Her addiction progressed as she turned and got into it accident that got her prescribed painkillers. She would get addicted opiates and eventually was using fentanyl. She found a turning point being arrested losing custody of her child and was court ordered to treatment. Kimmi is now 4 years clean what the help of the 12 steps and now works in treatment

I have my homie Matt on the podcast. Growing up in San Diego, he started experimenting at 8 years old trying to self medicate this mental health. Before he was 18 was in full blown addiction and going in and out of jail and treatment. After getting addicted to fentanyl he decided to give himself a chance and has been clean and sober for over 2 years!!
