IN TODAY'S FUEL....
POINT #1: Enjoyable Routines
Early morning walking leads to a lot of contemplating and reflection.
How often do we feel comfortable enough to ask for help?
POINT #2: Not Asking for Help
We don't let people know that we need help, especially when we're hurting, so our strategy is to not tell anyone.
When we don't ask for what we need, frustration ensues.
POINT #3: Hiding the Hurt
Others won't know to help us if we don't take out the metaphorical "Help Wanted" sign in our life.
It's very difficult to receive help sometimes, but that doesn't mean we don't need it.
QUESTION OF THE DAY:
Where in your Core 4 (body, being, balance and business) have you not been asking for help?
CHALLENGE OF THE DAY:
Tell one person that you need some help.
QUOTE OF THE DAY:
"How often do we really let others know that we need help? We're hurting, struggling and frustrated, but then our strategy becomes, 'Don't tell anyone.' We don't ask for what we need because we're not even being honest with ourselves that we need help because we isolate ourselves into these little boxes with our feelings. And then we get angry that no one is helping, but they won't know if we don't put out a sign."
