This week we welcome Tom Wray to the show, plus Kate Anderson is back! Tom is the Editor and Publisher of the Great Lakes Den, an online publication which covers bear, leather, and kink issues and news in the Great Lakes region.

We start off by discussing how Tom and Eric met, which centered around Eric's article about a Mr. International Leather party and the backlash that ensued. Tom discusses why the article hit such a nerve in the leather community, the struggles of leathermen within the larger LGBT community, and why he decided to reach out to Eric and work together.

Later we discuss Tom's own personal journey with leather, and circle back to issues of identity, BDSM practices, and inclusivity.

This week Chicago comedian Darius Kennedy joins us, along with Mary Zee, Craig Gaspian, and Caroline Allen. We talk to Darius about his start in comedy and the divide in Chicago between black and white comics.

That leads us to discussing the controversial indictment decision in the Ferguson case involving Officer Darren Wilson. We talk about the protests that erupted over the decision, and also go over a slew of instances of excessive police force (videos on www.fdpod.com).

Later we talk about the Shia Labeouf rape allegations, which leads to a discussion about false rape allegations.

Finally we cleanse the race relations palette by watching the happiest white family on the internet.
