Raj Agrawal is a retired aerospace engineer and a first-generation immigrant from India. After completing his bachelor’s in engineering, he came to Ottawa, Canada where he obtained his master’s in aerospace engineering and met his future wife. They moved to Montreal, where they made their home for almost a quarter century and became proud parents. The family immigrated to the United States, the land of cutting-edge research and revolutionary inventions, just before the turn of the new century.
But he’s not here this week to talk about his engineering career; he’s here to talk about his “near-term science fiction” trilogy. The first two books, Not for Sale! and Reversal! are published and the third book is in progress. He believes in the power of storytelling as a component of policy advocacy and that idea resonated with us.
