Can you create wispy, wet, and textured lash sets even if you’ve only learned classic lashes?

Yes—and in this episode of the Full Time Lash Artist Podcast, I’m breaking down exactly how I use classic and double-classic application techniques to create some of my favorite lash styles.

One of my favorite techniques is wispy classic. Instead of applying the same length throughout the set, I combine different lengths, diameters, and sometimes curls to create visible texture while still keeping the lashes natural.

When is the best time to bring your lash clients back for a refill? Two weeks? Three weeks? Four weeks? Or can some clients go even longer?

One of the biggest mistakes we can make as lash artists is assuming every client should follow the same refill schedule. Every client’s natural lashes grow and shed differently, which means their ideal refill timing can be different too.

For the majority of my clients, I recommend coming back every 2 to 3 weeks, but there isn’t one schedule that works for everybody.

As lash artists, our job is to educate our clients, understand their natural lashes, set the right expectations, and recommend a refill schedule based on what we actually see.
