The New York Mets acquired Javier Baez at the trade deadline!

Baez provided a shot in the arm on Saturday night with a two-run homer, and he did help the Mets win that game, but they still lost two-out-of-three to the Cincinnati Reds.

I'm discussing that series, as well as the Baez trade, that Berrios trade that didn't happen, and the agreement that wasn't with Kumar Rocker.

It all started with Jacob deGrom, as most good things do.

The New York Mets had a very good weekend at Citi Field to wrap up their season series with the San Diego Padres. They won the series 2-out-of-3, and have to be feeling very positive about things, even if the series finale didn't quite go their way.

Let's discuss what went right, and what went into the craziness that ended in a loss on Sunday.

After a sweep in Wrigley Field at the hands of the Cubs, the New York Mets returned home for a weekend series against the Washington Nationals.

Jacob deGrom Jacob deGrom'd his way to a 2-hit shutout on Friday night. The Mets defense proved to be the issue on Saturday. Then the bats recovered and led the team to victory on Sunday, completing a series victory.

Host Michael Smith breaks it all down!

The New York Mets just did something they didn't do at all in 2020: win consecutive series.

Excellent pitching performances from Jacob deGrom and Marcus Stroman helped the Mets take 2 of 3 from the Colorado Rockies. Meanwhile, the Mets offense put together a complete offensive performance, winning a 3-game series in the Rocky Mountains while only hitting one home run along the way.

All that plus a look ahead at the next series vs. the Chicago Cubs.

After a rough first five-plus games of the 2021 season, the New York Mets bounced back in a big way and swept the Philadelphia Phillies.

Sweeping a doubleheader with a walk-off and a stellar performance from Marcus Stroman, the Mets capped off the series with the best performance of David Peterson's young career, and now they head off to Colorado with Jacob deGrom waiting to kick off that series.

The bats seem to be waking up. The bullpen looks solid. There's a lot to be excited about right now.

After more than 18 months since the last time the New York Mets played a home game with fans, the Flushing Faithful returned to Citi Field for Thursday's home opener against the Miami Marlins.

It was a series filled with drama. From walk-off HBPs, to wasted greatness, to exclusive forecast experts, a lot went down in Queens this weekend, and Michael Smith is here to talk about it all.

In a delayed start to their season, the New York Mets had Jacob deGrom on the mound to get 2021 started against the Philadelphia Phillies.

As per usual, everything went great when deGrom was in the game, and fell apart after he left. Marcus Stroman got the win in game two, and David Peterson just wasn't good in the rubber match.

Francisco Lindor showed flashes of brilliance with the glove. Pete Alonso and Dom Smith homered. Michael Conforto left the entire borough of Queens on base.

Trevor May was bad, but also good. Jeurys Familia was ok. Jacob Barnes was not.

It was a roller coaster ride in The City of Brotherly Love, and Michael Smith is here to break it down. Thanks for listening!

The New York Mets have started their Spring Training schedule. Things are going to be a little different this year. (Stop me if you’ve heard that recently.).

Host Michael Smith is breaking down some of the storylines that have weaved through the first couple of exhibition games, as well as talking about some of the young guys we’ve had an opportunity to get our first looks at in Port St. Lucie.
