FUT IN REVIEW

Kyle and John begin with a discussion about the importance of warm-up in football and the different approaches players take. They then talk about their experiences with trying out different players and formations in FIFA Ultimate Team and how the power curve and abundance of high-rated cards have made it difficult to find significant differences between them. They also discuss the relevance of Player of the Month and Team of the Week cards in the current meta. The conversation concludes with a review of the current content in FIFA Ultimate Team, including the Double Upgrades, Player Picks, Showdown SBCs, and the Best of Team of the Week. In this conversation, Kyle and John discuss the Team of the Week (TOTW) cards in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT). They talk about the impact of the removal of TOTW cards and how it affects the market and SBCs. They also discuss the Best of TOTW cards and their value for SBCs. The conversation then shifts to the new SBC for Zambrotta, a highly rated right back. They discuss the pros and cons of completing the SBC and the potential value of the card. They also briefly touch on their favorite formations and players in FUT.

We discuss that and much, much more.

Dan & Nath return to take a bit of a step back and look at the overall direction of FC24 over the past few weeks. Is EA's apparent generosity here to stay, and if so is that a good thing, or will it lead to burn out?

Well spoilers: It's our longest episode in years for a reason. Also answering your sent in questions, Chris does a Formula One comparison (also check out our F1 In Focus podcast if you're into F1) and does Socrates make our teams!? Note: No hosts were hurt during today's heated discussions.
