In this episode, we explored the raising of a spiritual man and the process of learning to yield in to receive the things of the Spirit of God. The teaching began by examining the spirit of man and its intuition, highlighting how God designed the human spirit to perceive and respond to spiritual realities beyond the natural senses.
We reflected on God’s mercy throughout history, including His intervention in hindering the plans of the devil, showing that even acts of judgment reveal divine compassion and a desire to preserve humanity from deeper corruption. The discussion emphasized how both heavenly and earthly influences are imported into the world through lifestyle, as the way a person lives reflects the life they have received inwardly.
Our Pastor also taught that righteousness is not established by merely following external rules or avoiding certain actions, but by living through the leading of the Spirit. True transformation comes from inward life rather than outward regulation. Yielding was described as the willingness to let go of one’s personal rights and submit fully to God’s will. Just as Jesus demonstrated in Matthew 26:39, a life that reflects Christ is formed through continual yielding to God, often not for personal benefit but for the fulfillment of divine purpose.
A spiritual man, therefore, is one who possesses the mind of Christ and grows continually into that mind through obedience and spiritual formation.
Ultimately, the teaching encouraged listeners to embrace a lifestyle of yielding, allowing God to shape their character and develop within them the life and nature required to walk as true spiritual men and women.
