In this special episode of the Combined Brethren Meeting, we took an in-depth look at the coming of the Lord. It was emphasized that the coming of Jesus can be calibrated into two measures: first as Christ, then as the Son of God.

We saw that receiving Him as Christ will teach the believer how to put off the old man. This is known as the times of refreshing, where sins are blotted out. Only after this can a believer be prepared to receive Jesus as the Son of God. In this next measure, the Lord Jesus reveals Himself to the believer as God’s Prophet. As a prophet, He communicates the mind and heart of God to the end that people will be able to accomplish it.

Ultimately, receiving the coming of the Lord means to hear His word until we know the truth that is in Jesus. No believer experienced this at the new birth. Rather, we must receive Jesus in stages. We do this by meditating on His precepts and inclining our ears to His word. As we wait on the word and inquire about it, we will receive all the measures of the coming of the Lord.

In this special episode of the Gadites USA High School & Freshmen Brethren Meeting, our Pastor continued building upon the foundation of the process of the salvation of the soul. It was emphasized that even after the new birth, the soul still consists of old things. These old things, specifically corruption and deceitful lusts, can only be put off when a person commits to the learning of Christ. We saw that when a person fully learns Christ, their soul enters into a state of being in Christ, just as the spirit was at the new birth.

Additionally, it was established that for the inward man to be fully renewed, one must become a new man. A new man is one whose sole focus is pleasing God. We saw that achieving this requires living a lifestyle patterned after Jesus’ heavenly conversation. New things will only enter the soul through feeding upon and obeying the knowledge of Christ. A believer remains at risk of perishing if they consistently give themselves to the wrong knowledge.

Ultimately, it was explained that we must give ourselves to daily believing unto the salvation of our souls. The Holy Ghost was sent to us to reveal what we must believe. Therefore, we must become familiar with the Spirit of Truth if we are to know the truth that makes us free from corruption. Certain habits, such as attending meetings, reading the Bible, and praying, are essential to ensure a believer does not draw back unto perdition. Finally, having an accountability partner to ensure we are consistently engaging in these activities will significantly aid a believer's growth and journey toward the salvation of the soul.

In this special episode of the Gadites USA Seniors & Grad Brethren Meeting, our Pastor continued the series on the angelic, building upon the foundation already established. He began by emphasizing that angels respond only to God, not to men. Hence, it is not safe for a believer to seek angelic encounters. He highlighted that such visions, which must always be verified by Scripture, do not add to a person’s spirituality. Angels are messengers of God and can speak in the first person in God's stead when delivering His message.

The core of the message focused on an in-depth look at the three strata of the angelic. It was reiterated that there are three distinct angelic cadres, each with varying access to God. The first-heaven angels are referred to as His works in all places of His dominion (Psalm 103:22). They are kingly in nature. The first heaven can be likened to the Outer Court in the Tabernacle of Moses, where Levites and kings primarily minister. We saw that these angels are closest to man and primarily minister to man’s carnal needs.

Furthermore, we saw that the seraphims in the second heaven are flames of fire that constitute the mount of the congregation. The second heaven is likened to the Holy Place in the tabernacle, as seen in Isaiah 6:1–6. God is known in their midst as the Lord of Hosts, because He visits there. God dwells in the third heaven, between the cherubim (Psalm 80:1). The third heaven is the Most Holy Place, and the throne of God is signified by the Ark of the Covenant.

Ultimately, the angelic pattern is similar to how the Lord is raising believers. The Lord is preparing believers to be angels of the world to come. We will be the actual creatures that will show forth the originality of the heavens. We are not allowed to do less than the angels; we must be better than them. Therefore, there are certain things we will not be permitted to do on our journey to holiness

In this episode of the Gadites USA Juniors meeting, our Pastor continued the series on the Gradations of Love, focusing on the third level: the “Love of the Brethren.” He established that while God’s love extends to all men and specifically to all saints, there is a profound depth found only in the brotherhood of those whose spirits have been quickened and made alive in Christ.

We began by exploring the binary nature of the spiritual realm, distinguishing between those who are spiritually dead and those who are spiritually alive. Using a testimony from Kenneth E. Hagin, it was emphasized that “brethren” strictly refers to fellow believers because a shared spiritual life is the only basis for true brotherhood. We saw that while an unbeliever’s spirit is naturally drawn away from God, a believer’s spirit is designed to ascend toward Him.

In addition, we saw the critical distinction between Relationship and Fellowship. While relationship is established automatically through spiritual rebirth, fellowship is a deliberate investment of time, proximity, and love. Through 1 John 1:1-3, we saw that the Apostle John invited fellow believers—who already had a relationship with God—into a deeper fellowship that provides access to the inner workings and secrets of the Father.

Furthermore, we saw that spiritual access and revelation are not distributed equally among all believers but are measured by one’s capacity for fellowship. Using John 5:19-20, Pastor illustrated that because the Father loves the Son, He shows Him “all things.” This reveals that the depth of our intimacy with God determines the level of spiritual gifts, access, and judgment He entrusts to us.

Ultimately, we learned that we must not settle for just being part of God’s family but must actively cultivate fellowship with Him. The teaching concluded by instructing the juniors that love is the foundation of this intimacy, and just as love gives, God shares His deepest resources with those who choose to walk in close proximity to Him. This sets the stage for understanding how to increase our capacity to receive the deep things of the Spirit through a life of dedicated fellowship.

In this episode of the Sophomores brethren meeting, our Pastor explained submission to spiritual authority as another form of Laying on of Hands. As believers we are first under Divine Authority(God) then we are put under Spiritual Authority to help us grow as seen in Ephesians 4:11-14.

In addition we also saw this same pattern in the life of our Lord Jesus showing us that it is a necessary nature to have on the journey to salvation as it helps remove tendency/nature of rebellion and Pride and replacing it with meekness and Lowliness. We also saw it as a wisdom to wrestle lustful natures in the soul and ultimately lose those natures.

In this episode, we dive deeper into understanding how handling natural affairs properly affects our spiritual growth.

Our pastor started by briefly discussing how science is supposed to discover what God made. Science itself does not create rather it confirms what God created.

The way we are to relate with the natural world is by faith. As Christians we need to be careful with western ideologies so it does not constitute how we view the things of God.

Our pastor also spoke extensively on how our generation loves convenience and does not want process. We also take those habits with us in our walk with God. We sometimes do not like the processes the are involved in our spiritual growth. We were advised to not put ourselves under duress for growth. To grow spiritually, you need to go through processes which requires time.

Our faith in God is meant to reculture how we think. The faith life has its own laws which are not cultural or religious. We sometimes incorporate cultural beliefs and practices into our walk with the lord and it should not be so.

Lastly, we emphasized what true beauty means as a believer. We should exalt inner beauty over outward beauty. This does not mean we should not care for our external appearance but rather we should cater more to our inner beauty because external beauty is vain.

In this episode of the Gadites USA High School & Freshmen Brethren Meeting, our Pastor continued the series on the Tripartite Nature of Man, building upon the foundation laid in the previous week. He reiterated that man is a spirit, who has a soul, and lives in a body. We learned that the spirit is the inner man, the soul is the inward man and the body is the outward man.

It was established that only the spirit of man was quickened and made a new creature at the new birth. The soul, which consists of the heart and mind, had previously walked according to the course of this world. The devil had held the soul captive, training it in the ways of sin. Therefore, it is impossible for the soul to be fully renewed in a single day.

Because of this, the renewal of the soul is a process known as the salvation of the soul. We learned that the salvation of the soul means delivering it from its ingrained inability to consistently obey God’s commandments. A saved soul is one that has been transformed to the point where it no longer desires to turn away from God.

In this episode of the Gadites USA Seniors and Grad Brethren Meeting, our Pastor took an in-depth look into the heaven of angels. He explained that angels exist in three cadres, just as the tabernacle of Moses, which had three segments, was made after the pattern of the heavenlies. These cadres of angels are distinguished by their garments, just as the Levites, priests, and the high priest were distinguished by theirs. The third heaven is the highest heaven, the paradise of God.

We established that angelic cadres are also referred to as their habitations or estates. Their placement in different estates is determined by the specific wisdom and knowledge the angels possess. It was emphasized that angels were created with a measure of the wisdom and knowledge of God that they can never increase or reduce. Unlike human beings, they cannot be taught to grow spiritually.

Furthermore, all angels are His messengers. As seen in Psalm 103:20–21, the angels in the third heaven are known as God’s angels, the second cadre are God’s hosts, and the first heaven angels are known as His works. Man’s expression of dominion ought to be in the heaven of the earth, while angels’ expression of dominion ought to be in their own heavens, and God’s kingdom ought to rule over all.

Ultimately, we saw that angels are tied to specific purposes of God. They were made to serve God and minister to men until men can house all of God in their hearts. Angels were created as a pattern to show man how to build a habitation for God, as the heavens cannot house God. The ultimate intention of God is to dwell in men.
