Honeyman, author of Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine, has chosen another award winning novel, What Was Lost by Catherine O'Flynn. Harriett nominates The Beginning of Spring by Penelope Fitzgerald, and Mavis Cheek is astounded that Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte has never been chosen on the programme before.
