  • Down Memory Lane...The Last Time Connacht Played In A Pro12/URC Semi-Final - Connacht 16 Glasgow 11
Connacht faces The Stormers in the United Rugby Championship Semi-Final on Saturday afternoon at Cape Town Stadium looking to repeat a famous day in 2016 when they qualified for their first (and only) final in this Competition.
A week after beating Glasgow Warriors, they had to do the same again to book their place in the Pro12 Final against Leinster and in front of a packed Sportsground they did exactly that winning 16-11.
As we look forward to Saturday, let's look back to that sunny day in May in the company of John Mulligan, Rob Murphy and Joe Healy.

  • RUGBY: Connacht Junior’s Finish Interprovincial Series On Saturday In Connemara
This Saturday, the Connacht Junior Rugby Team finishes the Junior Interprovincial Series at home to Ulster at the Monastery Field, home of Connemara RFC.
It has been a frustrating series given their narrow defeats to Munster in Tuam and Leinster in Portlaoise but given other results, the province could finish second in the competition if they win on Saturday.
An incredible effort has been put in by the players, the coaches and the management and Connemara RFC has pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable one for players and supporters alike.
Head Coach Barry Ruane has been speaking about Saturday's game to John Mulligan.
