Tyler Stephenson hit a grand slam in a six-run fifth inning, while Elly De La Cruz, Spencer Steer, and Matt McLain also homered. Brady Singer pitched six strong innings, allowing one run on four hits to earn the win, improving to 7-4. The Reds, now 36-35, snapped a two-game skid, while the Tigers, still leading the AL at 46-25, struggled with Jack Flaherty giving up seven runs in 4 2/3 innings. De La Cruz also made a standout defensive play, throwing out a runner at the plate.
