I also played Gotham Knights (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1496790/Gotham_Knights/), which is a very different game, but still enjoyable. This week I continue playing through the Arkham games with Batman: Arkham City (https://store.steampowered.com/app/200260/Batman_Arkham_City__Game_of_the_Year_Edition/) which is a really fantastic follow-up to Arkham Asylum. I also was able to hop into the Battlefield 6 Open Beta (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2807960/Battlefield_6/) and get a preview of what that new game will look like when it releases in October. It's good! Last but not least, I recommend the 1954 Hitchcock classic Rear Window, which stars Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0047396). This week I continue playing through the Arkham games with the first in the series - Batman: Arkham Asylum (https://store.steampowered.com/app/35140/Batman_Arkham_Asylum_Game_of_the_Year_Edition/)! This is a really great game from 15 years ago, but so is Donkey Kong Bananza (https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/donkey-kong-bananza-switch-2/) which came out in July. Finally, I recommend the new Fantastic Four: First Steps movie (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt10676052), which is a great first outing for the FF in the MCU. This week I kick off my playthrough of the Arkham series with Batman: Arkham Origins (https://store.steampowered.com/app/209000/Batman_Arkham_Origins/). Not the first in the series, but first narratively, so it's a good place to start. I also enjoyed the new game from Mark Brown, Word Play (https://store.steampowered.com/app/3586660/Word_Play/). Single player Scrabble against a clock! Last but not least, I recommend the website ProtonDB (https://www.protondb.com/) for anyone looking to play games on Linux. This week I got a surprise and ended up playing two Prince of Persia games! First up is the solid The Lost Crown (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2751000/Prince_of_Persia_The_Lost_Crown/) followed up by the not-so-solid The Fallen King (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prince_of_Persia:_The_Fallen_King). I also recommend the 1978 Superman movie (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078346) as well, if only to compare it to the new movie. Lastly, for the rest of the month of August I will be playing the Batman Arkham games. This week I played a newer game in the Sands of Time trilogy, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands (https://store.steampowered.com/app/33320/Prince_of_Persia_The_Forgotten_Sands/) as well as a new free to play game, Mech Break (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2452280/Mecha_BREAK/). This week I played two very different games from Ubisoft. First, the lackluster Prince of Persia: Warrior Within (https://store.steampowered.com/app/13500/Prince_of_Persia_Warrior_Within/) followed by the pretty solid Star Wars: Outlaws (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2842040/Star_Wars_Outlaws/). Definitely playing more Outlaws, maybe not Warrior Within! Finally I recommend the demo for the upcoming game Jump Ship (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2841820/Jump_Ship_Demo/)! These are a couple of my earliest and most favorite games.
