This week I continued to play the Oblivion remaster (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2623190/The_Elder_Scrolls_IV_Oblivion_Remastered/) in a couple of different ways as well as tried out the new Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1903340/Clair_Obscur_Expedition_33/). My recommendation for the week is another YouTube craftsman, Jesse Hu (https://www.youtube.com/@jhublades), who makes some very impressive blades. This week I played a bit more of Baldur's Gate 3 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1086940/Baldurs_Gate_3/) and decided maybe it's just not going to be a big deal for me. I also played the fantastic Oblivion Remastered (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2623190/The_Elder_Scrolls_IV_Oblivion_Remastered/) and poured a bunch of time into it. Lastly, because it's the only way I could play the remaster, I recommend Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass). This week I played some more Baldur's Gate 3 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1086940/Baldurs_Gate_3/) as well as The Bard's Tale (https://store.steampowered.com/app/41900/The_Bards_Tale_ARPG_Remastered_and_Resnarkled/) and found that playing a bard in either game was not easy! I'm also recommending the book The Icarus Hunt by Timothy Zahn (https://www.amazon.com/Icarus-Hunt-Novel-Timothy-Zahn/dp/0553573918) which is an old favorite of mine. This week I completed the storyline for the Undermine patch in WoW (https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-us/) and finally tried Baldur's Gate 3 (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1086940/Baldurs_Gate_3/)! Pro tip: use a controller. It's a big week for gamers with the reveal of tons of information about the Nintendo Switch 2 (https://youtu.be/VrTVeYm4iIM?si=IIx9zb6onKT7HlHI)! Some really cool stuff, some high prices, and at least one headscratcher. Also this week, I started the Star Wars Dark Forces Remaster (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2292260/STAR_WARS_Dark_Forces_Remaster/). This is a really well done remaster of a classic Star Wars FPS that I think a lot of people will like. Lastly, I recommend the recently released book "Experience Jesus. Really." by author John Eldredge (https://www.amazon.com/Experience-Jesus-Really-Strength-Encounters/dp/1400208653) which has some great thoughts on how to deepen your relationship with Jesus in a time when that's not always easy.
