  • GameHounds 233: Goalie Got a New Toy
    The thing about gamers, they like their toys. And gamers who are also podcasters really, really like their toys. Holy Goalie got a new, fancy box and puts it to good use. He and co-hosts Edie Sellers and two versions of Nick Dinicola, the GameHounds gang is joined by Zinyak from Saints Row IV. Sort of. The show had some techincal difficulties, so the news had to be rolled over to the Happy Endings show. You are subscribed to Happy Endings, right? Right?!? No? Well, then check out the Happy Endings iTunes page and subscribe yourself, slacker. We do manage to review a host of games on this week's regular GameHounds show, including:
    Edie's impressions of Saints Row IV;
    Nick's thoughts on Grand Theft Auto V;
    Goalie's (surprisingly not-horrible) review of Aliens: Colonial Marines.
    Enjoy.

  • GameHounds 232: The Miseducation of Kelly Brown
    Finally! We're back. Technically, we were always over on Spreaker, but now our regular recorded show is back. Who isn't back is Nick, who had to take the week off. Instead, Holy Goalie and Edie Sellers are joined by Mrs. Lefty Brown of the Married Gamers. And things get raunchy. Let's just say you get a porta-pottie education you probably didn't need. When not discussing the most disgusting guerilla porn, the team discusses:
    The ending of , , (PS Vita), (PS Vita), , , , , .
    Ouya's Free the Games fund is apparently . But that's not changing anything.
    officially after months of rumors. Why is this okay for Steam but not Microsoft?
    NBC Universal decides that the but to the Style Channel. What now? Rehire ?
    Grand Theft Auto V sets record for , costing $266 million.
    Nick will be back next week. Don't worry. Enjoy.

  • GameHounds 230: What Women Really Think About
    Giggle. Well, I woudn't begin to guess what's on this episode. I mean, I've been busy keeping up on the latest Jimmy Choo styles. But if I was to venture a guess, it would be about games. But since I'm a girl, there's no way I could know anything about them. I do know that, in this episode, Holy Goalie, Nick Dinicola, and Edie Sellers (notice: the girl is last) talk about these video gamey things. Topics might include:
    Reviews of how Edie almost killed her computer playing Don't Starve, Rogue Legacy, The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief, Remember Me, Tiny Troopers;
    Bioshock Infinite and there's . Is it too late?
    British retailer consoles, games, and accessories. Is this the end?
    In the wake of Microsoft's announcement of a 1,000-person friends list, Sony announces it will offer a 2,000-person friends list. Is Sony just trolling now?

  • GameHounds 228: Full Steam Ahead
    There's this time during the summer that it really doesn't matter what news is going on. It's the Steam Summer Sale. And all things important stop. Including your ability to control your spending. All three hosts — Edie Sellers, Nick Dinicola, and Holy Goalie — are all deeply under the spell of Steam. Rather than bother with news items, because let's face it, not much was happening at the time, they dive into what they've been buying on Steam and why. Games include Surgeon Simulator 2013, Don't Starve, Command and Conquer, Splinter Cell, Grand Theft Auto, War of the Roses, Chivalry, Guns of Icarus Online, Men of War, Strike Suit Zero, Lunar Flight, Galaxy on Fire 2, Tiny Troopers, World in Conflict, Dawn of War 2, Warhammer, Star Wars: Empire at War, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Sanctum 2, Rogue Legacy, Half Life 2, Sleeping Dogs, Oregon Trail Director's Cut, Carriers of Command, Infestation: Survivor Stories, Defiance, Euro Truck Simulator, Dust: An Elesian Tale, Sim City, Alan Wake, Bastion, Deadlight, Dark Souls, Mark of the Ninja, Skyrim, Steam Trading Cards. So set your calendars. Enjoy.

  • GameHounds 227: Dark Soles
    This episode was supposed to see the light of day on Sunday. But then Comcast decided to "upgrade" our Internet service by essentially breaking it. We've had it up, but it's been wonky. Rather than taking a chance the show would be corrupted, we held off. Yes, that means you waited a little longer, but at least you won't get halfway through and find out that it's all borked n' stuff. Enjoy.

  • GameHounds Episode 226: The List of Promises
    Love to write a long explanation of the topics and stuff but going out of town today. In, like, five minutes. BE ADVISED: We will have no show next week, as... well... I'm out of town. Oh god, the car is pulling out of the driveway. Gotta go. WAIT FOR MEEEE!! Enjoy.

  • GameHounds Episode 225: Logan's One
    Deepest apologies from the GameHounds staff. We're a few days late posting this show, but on the plus side, you've had a few extra days to enjoy the GameHounds: Happy Endings shows. This episode, recorded just a few short hours before Microsoft backtracked on many of its features, may seem a bit dated. But it was dated two hours after it was recorded. The reviews and commentary on other news, however, aren't dated. What do we review and commentate? Lemme tell ya:
    Reviews of State of Decay, Last of Us, NHL 13, Diner Dash, and Mount Your Friends;
    Ken Levine is slated to write the remake of Logan's Run;
    Someone snooping around the code for the last Steam update found an upcoming shared library;
    Microsoft confirms its first-party games for Xbox One ;
    Sony's firmware update because it's bricking console.
    Enjoy.

    As E3 was underway, the GameHounds staff got their coffee on and bellied up to the microphone to review what they'd seen after Microsoft and Sony started their rumble in Los Angeles. Holy Goalie, Nick Dinicola, and Edie Sellers try to keep their eyes open after nearly 14 hours straight of watching E3 reveals and podcasting on Spreaker each of the presentations. You have checked those out, haven't you? Topics include:
    Reviews of , revisited, how to , Devil May Cry (Xbox 360);
    Goalie chats with a GameStop employee who tries to offer some reasoning for Xbox One's used-game policy;
