  • GameHounds 221: 99 Problems and the Xbox Ain't One
    It's a sad thing when the day you thought the world would change, it does, but not for the better. The GameHounds gang is suffering from severe expectations hangover after the big Xbox One reveal. Holy Goalie is pissed, Edie Sellers is scared, Nick Dinicola... well, Nick's just Nick. It's pretty much a one-topic show devoted entirely to the Xbox One announcement and the various rumors and semi-confirmations—followed by backtracking and retractions—after the big Microsoft presser. • GameHounds 218: Staying Calm and Carrying On
    It's hard to do a show two days after a national tragedy, but we did it. The crew finds a way to keep calm, carry on, and make the best of a tough few days. Holy Goalie, who's in the Boston area, is joined by Nick Dinicola and Edie Sellers while they get very raw and real about all the crazy emotions going through them at the moment and wondering how to they talk about something so trivial as video games when a horrible event such as the Boston Marathon bombing is so fresh and raw. Since this recording, the two bombers have been caught and killed, and while we still have a lot of questions unanswered, the answer to "what do we do now" is to not let the tragedy stop our lives... or our podcast. ALERT: GameHounds won't have a show next week due to Edie going out of town. Need something to tide you over? Try our two episodes of GameHounds: Happy Endings on . This . This . . In the week's episode, the somber GameHounds gang discusses:

  • GameHounds 217: Happy Beginnings
    First off, we want to apologize. Last week, when we wrote the title for Episode 216, it never occured to us that anyone might interprent the phrase "end of an era" to mean "end of a GameHounds era." We were talking about Rock Band. Not us. Don't worry, you're stuck with us for a long, long time. In fact, Edie Sellers just recently inked a deal that her frozen head will host the podcast until 2135. And that contract? It's pretty airtight. Get it? Aaaanyway, Edie, Nick Dinicola, and Holy Goalie gave you a whole host of stories to gab about, including:
    Short reviews of ;

    We’re starting up our post-PAX work, and that means we’ll be posting in the next couple days all of our podcasts we recorded in Boston last weekend. In this full-length, post-PAX podcast, Edie Sellers, Holy Goalie, and Nick Dinicola are joined by Stormtrooper Ray to review what they saw during the event and analyze what Ubisoft offered in their teaser trailers for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag and Watch Dogs. In addition they hand out their awards for best game of show, most unique game, best interview, and a whole host of other extremes. And yes, there are Buck or Chucks. How could we not?
