Rule #6 of The 7 Cardinal Rules in Life is: "Stop THINKING too much, it’s alright not to know all the answers." Sometimes there is no answer, not going to be any answer, never has been an answer. That’s the answer. Just accept it, move on, NEXT!. At GAMETIME, we like to say “Next Play.” When we get stuck or make a mistake, we just need to stop and move onto the next task at hand... the "next play." And remember to take a moment when you can’t find the answer to remind yourself there may not always be one!

Rule #5 of The 7 Cardinal Rules in Life is: "Don’t COMPARE your life with others, you have no idea what their journey is all about." If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else’s problems, we would grab ours back as fast as we could. We have all wished we had someone else’s life at times, but remember, everyone has problems and we really have no idea what is really going on in someone else's life. Recognizing that fact, we must also be careful not to judge others and as such, be more compassionate. "Compare and Despair, or Dare to be Rare!" 

Rule #4 of The 7 Cardinal Rules in Life is: "No one is the reason of your own HAPPINESS, except you yourself." Waste no time and effort searching for peace and contentment and joy in the outside world. HAPPINESS is an inside job! 

Rule #3 of The 7 Cardinal Rules in Life is: "Time HEALS almost everything." Give time, time. Pain will be less hurting. Scars make us who we are; they explain our life and why we are the way we are.  They challenge us and force us to be stronger.

Rule #2 of The 7 Cardinal Rules in Life is: "What others THINK of you is none of your business." It's how much you value you and yourself and how important you think you are that matters most. This is similar to Rule 2 in the Four Agreements, don’t take anything personally. It is so hard to not take what others think personally, but remember - it is their projection of their own reality. When you are truly focused on you and value yourself without regard of what others think of you, you can step into greatness and be the best version of you!

Rule #1 of The 7 Cardinal Rules in Life is: "Make PEACE with your PAST" so it doesn't spoil your present. Your past does not define your future, your actions and beliefs do. Every moment is an opportunity to turn your life around. Allow your amazing vision of your future to define your future, not your past!

1. Make peace with your past.

3. Time heals almost everything. 

4. No one is the reason of your own happiness, except you yourself. 

5. Don’t compare your life with others.

When we can be bigger than the fight, we are being smarter, stronger and playing a much better game!

We like to look at others and make statements about them, compare or judge, but we all have the same stuff inside. You can’t recognize things unless you have them. It’s ok because this works with the good and the bad. We all are made up of many parts and qualities; many of which lay dormant inside of us. When you spot something in someone else, you must realize you have or are that too... you got it! Those parts of you are just waiting to be unleashed. So which parts will you focus on? Which parts will you unleash onto the world? The good or the bad? Remember, "if you can see it within them, then it's in you!" 

It is really great to find ourselves; I highly encourage everyone I coach to find their purpose, passion and meaning in life. However, we're ultimately here to create ourselves and the life we want... if you just find yourself, but don’t do anything to create yourself, you will find yourself doing a whole lot of nothing. And... not only do we owe it to ourselves to create ourselves, we owe it to ourselves to be ourselves! Our self-esteem will suffer greatly if we try to be someone else. Find you, create you and then focus soley on being truly you... the 1st rate version of you!
