This week I finally get to dive into learn a bit about how to use Cubase and oh boy did I fall in love. The week started off with Mike and Kyle getting to meet for the first time. We tested some different recording scenarios. Then Mike was able to help me get a template set us in Cubase. I didn’t get started until Thursday but I got some ntresting stuff for a new intro possible depending on what the guys think. Check it out and stay tune for more progress on the pdocast.

AL004 || Strategies and Setbacks

I began this week with the intentions of learning how to use Cubase for recording the the Audio Logs. However, I did not expect to get the email I got from A**le Podcasts in regards to my submittion to their podcast directory. Which led me to work more on how to fix what was wrong. The higlight was be able to connect more with Kyle. Did a little bit of brainstroming trying to see what roles we are you going fill.

MARCH 24TH 2019

This week we steady the pace a bit and make nice progress, and it turned into a very productive week once I figured out that a little programing goes a long way. Started to really get some of this stuff automated now for the audio logs, and that’s the first step towards getting the Garden of the Mind up and running. Now it’s time to pivot and start planning the long format GoTM episodes.

Crashing the Course in Interviewing

Tonight, we take a look back at the work we have done this past week and breath. Still learning the ends and out of recording with the H4N Pro. Then it quickly turned to a week of going from zero interviewing ever done, to three attempts. One semi successful, one mediocre, and one a complete learning experience. AL001 MARCH 10TH 2019

In this first episode Mike and myself have some fun learning how to use a new device. We took a trip to Guitar Center and bought The Zoom H4N Pro handheld recorder. Naturally we had to get some audio files down to test it. So, we explain what these logs are going to be about while we play with the new toy and learn some things to get ready for interviewing.
