But
Aaaand… The oil movement for Iran
And now, Kevin Hassett tacitly admits that prices have not gone the way he had portrayed them a quarter ago, when he claimed that prices were up because the economy was great, when he and Bessent claimed that the US was “insulated” from world demand for oil/gas. Headline: “Kevin Hassett says gas prices will drop once Strait of Hormuz traffic returns to normal—Democrat senator calls recent price hike ‘unacceptable’“ LINK
And Trump (who said he hates communism) is pulling the collectivist central planner card again, attacking oil companies for the prices HE has made high (and which other Presidents and Congresses have made high because of regulations ie. restrictions and ditkats) - “Trump demands gas retailers cut pump prices immediately, warns of ‘big problems’ if they don’t” LINK
-BUUUT, Trump doesn’t care about house prices. “Trump: Housing affordability bill is ‘a big yawn’“ LINK In fact, he said he wants them to rise. Clearly, he doesn’t understand the goal of a productive economy and thinks value is akin to rising price. That’s not the case in a fiat money world.

***And human rights lawyer/author Dan Kovalik was detained when arriving in the UK at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport (the irony is clear). They held him because of statements he has made promoting peace, human rights, and the truth about the NATO-US-EU attacks on Russian sovereignty, their proxy war against Russia via Ukraine, and the Israeli genocide machine.
He was not formally arrested or charged with any crime based on available reports. Instead, he was stopped and questioned under Schedule 7 of the UK’s Terrorism Act 2000, a border/port power that allows authorities to detain and question people for up to six hours without arrest for terrorism-related inquiries. This power has been criticized for its broad application, including against journalists, activists, and dissidents.

UKRAINE-RUSSIAUKRAINE DRONE ATTACK KILLS CIVILIAN INFANT “Six-month-old killed in Ukrainian drone strike on Moscow Region – governor — RT Russia & Former Soviet Union” LINK
Ukraine continues to add to the 400 drones it launched against Russia from late Saturday into Monday. Thus far, the Russians have not targeted civilian areas. The US, as Matt Hoh notes, does not operate with that same kind of care.

WARIRANThe past 24 hours have seen the US Prez not only again threaten to destroy all of Iran, then claim that “talks will begin X”, it sees the US building up 50K troops in Qatar and the Iranian government expressing perplexity about Trump’s baseless claims of “talks”.
The Press Sec, Karoline Leavitt, claims that the US is responding to violence, but doesn’t acknowledge that it is the US that started the conflict. She might want to ask the families of those 170 children killed in Iran on the first day of the US attack. And Mr. Waltz seems to be of the mind that the Strait of Hormuz is “international” water. If he means it’s under the legal control of Iran and Oman, he is right, but that is not what he means. He is lying, trying to give the world the false impression that the waterway “belongs to everyone”… BTW, Waltz also claims that ‘143 nations” in the UN explicitly have condemned Iran for closing the strait. That is not correct. No single public document pins exactly 143 co-sponsors to one specific Hormuz-focused resolution in available records. In March, 135 UN member states condemned Iran for shutting down civilian shipping, but since then, there has been no official logging of a subsequent declaration.
MEANWHILE… The Iranian gubment claims that Qatar is ready to send it $6 Bil of the funds that the US stole from Iran in 1979 and then handed to other nations to hold in escrow.
AND…
The Israeli government pulled a transparently offensive move today to flip Turkey the bird and “recognize” the Armenian genocide of 1916. The Turkish government was responsible, but the Israelis have never spoken about this until now, when the Turkish government is issuing more opposition to Israeli aggression. Interesting timing.
Oh, and here is genocide-enabler Jake Sullivan, who literally stood on a balcony in Israel during the Biden regime, and pretended all was well in Gaza while he was being interviewed. Now, he’s seeing that he can slide along by adopting the “middle of the road realist” guise.

IRAQThe US appears to have tried to purge anti-US numbers from the Iraqi governmental apparat.
UKRAINE-RUSSIARussian sources claim that on the night of June 26, Russian missiles and drones struck a deep bunker in Kyiv’s Darnytskyi district containing a British-supplied shipment of enriched uranium, radiological, and chemical materials for nuclear weapons/components. The cargo allegedly arrived via the ship “T MOON” in Odessa on June 24 and was hidden in a military bunker. The strikes reportedly caused a background radiation hazard spike, prompting emergency alerts for residents to stay indoors. This Substack report portrays this as a precise Russian success that neutralized Western (NATO/British) nuclear-related aid and eliminated associated personnel.
Russia TruthA Radiation Hazard was announced in KIEV: Russia destroyed British Components for Nuclear WeaponsOn June 26, the Russian Aerospace Forces executed what monitoring services are calling one of the most devastatingly coordinated, multi-theater missile campaigns in the history of the conflict…Read more14 days ago · 90 likes · 17 comments · Russia TruthHere is Larry Johnson on the story. Again, there are only a few sources reporting this information, and it is not as solid as many other facts of the Ukraine-Russia fight that we can report
Recent assessments show Russian forces conducting slow, grinding offensive operations primarily in eastern Ukraine (Donetsk region), with incremental gains through infiltration tactics, assaults on fortified positions, and clearing operations around areas like Kostyantynivka, Slovyansk/Pokrovsk directions, and limited pressure in Sumy and Kharkiv sectors. Russian forces have also struck Ukrainian gas stations and fuel infrastructure in multiple regions, including near Kharkiv City, Zaporizhzhia City, Sumy Oblast, and other areas. These hits target logistics, military refueling, and civilian/economic capacity (e.g., Naftogaz facilities and local stations disabled in places like Trostyanets). Russian sources frame this as disrupting Ukrainian support for the front; Ukrainian reports confirm damage. Some reports describe broader expansion across axes with pressure on Ukrainian logistics and fuel networks.
And, as the Russians continue to advance, the Americans and Europeans are violating the claims that NATO was a “defensive” organization, and they continue to fund and arm Ukraine, while numerous politicians, such as NATO’s Rutte, praise Trump and European “leaders” for all of the deadly acceleration of western involvement. European leaders are marching their countries straight into disaster with this reckless military buildup aimed at Russia. While Russian forces methodically advance in eastern Ukraine and knock out gas stations and fuel depots to cripple Ukrainian logistics and daily life, Brussels and Berlin pour billions into weapons they can barely staff or produce. This NATO-driven escalation, backed by more money and arms from Washington, ignores Russia’s resolve, strategic and tactical dominance, and superior staying power. The result won’t be victory—it will be more dead Europeans, shattered economies, and a humiliated continent forced to beg for peace it could have had years ago. These western warmongers are playing with fire that will burn their own houses down.
According to pro-war “Institute for the Study of War”: “The United States reimposed sanctions against Russian seaborne oil exports after temporary sanctions waivers expired and were not renewed.[14] Ukrainian Presidential Commissioner for Sanctions Policy Vladyslav Vlasyuk stated on June 26 that the US sanctions against Russian oil producers Rosneft and Lukoil have re-entered force after the United States issued sanctions waivers on Russian oil exports that were already at sea since March 12.[15] The most recent US waiver on these sanctions expired as of June 17, and US officials have not indicated since June 17 that the United States would extend the sanctions waiver again.”

Larry and the Judge also discuss what Larry knows about the funneling of already-ill-gotten funds from the US and Europeans to Ukrainian lackeys, and, in some cases, to Israeli interests, and back to US politicians.

So, Trump at a “FAITH AND FREEDOM” gathering to evangelicals tried to portray himself as pro-religion, despite him pushing the medical “emergency” announcement (unconstitutional) of March 13, 2020, that triggered the Model State Emergency Health statutes that many states had passed fifteen years earlier (the legislation was created in Johns Hopkins and handed out as a template to state politicians, where almost all states passed the bills). He did nothing to stop the states crushing the 4th Amendment, the 5th, the 6th, the 8th or the 14th. He also did nothing to maintain that the states uphold their own state constitutional protections of freedom of speech and association. ZERO.
SO, over the weekend, The Don depicted popular support for anti-war Mondami in NYC and some of Zorhan’s policies (rent-freezes, collectivist supermarket experiments, tax increases for high-earners and on estates) as Trump’s polar opposites. Here are some examples.
Above, we see communism’s core evil described: “…taking wealth and property” - kind of like he had governments do so he could build in NYC, kind of like he is doing on the state borders of Mexico, kind of like he has done with Russian tankers, Venezuelan oil, continued claims over the radio-frequency spectrum, his seizure of the “Gaza reconstruction”, his claims over your market choices (by imposing tariffs) and his support of Israel seizing more of the West Bank, Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.

Of course, from a REAL free-market standpoint, Donald Trump’s warnings about communist influences ring hollow against his administration’s own statist interventions…
While Trump rightly flags collectivist tendencies in figures like New York’s mayor, his policies reveal crony corporatism and expansive government power that contradict free-market principles of voluntary exchange, limited state, and secure property rights. The administration has directed taxpayer funds to acquire equity stakes in more than a dozen private companies. On Liberty Conspiracy tonight, we will discuss this portion of the NDAA that will EXPAND the federal involvement in ownership of corporations. (Via Reason: “Trump Has Used Taxpayer Money To Purchase Stakes in Dozens of Companies. Congress Is About to Make It Easier.” LINK
Examples include roughly a 10% stake in Intel via Commerce Department support, stakes in MP Materials (rare earths), Lithium Americas, and others tied to strategic sectors.
****Here is a list of the main corporations where the Trump administration has acquired equity stakes, shares, or special ownership/control instruments (as of mid-2026), based on publicly reported deals. These primarily involve semiconductors and critical minerals sectors, often through conversions of grants/loans or direct investments by agencies like the Departments of Commerce, Defense, and Energy. Figures can involve preferred stock, common shares, or warrants and are subject to final closings or exercises in some cases…
Confirmed/Publicly Detailed Stakes
Intel Corporation (INTC)
Stake: 9.9%–10% equity stake (approximately 433 million shares in one report).
Details: Commerce Department investment (~$8.9 billion total, partly converting prior CHIPS Act grants). One of the largest and most publicized stakes. LINK
MP Materials (MP)
Stake: 15% (via $400 million preferred stock investment by the Department of Defense, making DoD the largest shareholder). Earlier reports mentioned 7.5% + additional rights/warrants; current consensus across sources is the 15% effective stake. LINK
Lithium Americas Corp. (LAC)
Stake: 5% in Lithium Americas + 5% economic stake in the Thacker Pass joint venture (with General Motors). Some reports reference potential movement toward ~10%. LINK
Trilogy Metals Inc. (TMQ)
Stake: Approximately 10% (via ~$17.8 million investment for shares + warrants; total stake ~10%, with rights to additional via warrants).
Details: Department of Defense/Office of Strategic Capital investment to support Alaska critical minerals projects. LINK
USA Rare Earth
Stake: 8%–16% (depending on exercise of warrants; includes 16.1 million common shares + 17.6 million warrants from Commerce Department).
US Steel (X)
Stake: “Golden share” (Class G preferred stock/special governance instrument).
Details: Provides significant control rights (veto power over certain decisions like plant closures, HQ relocation, or major changes; ability to appoint a director) but is noneconomic (no standard equity percentage, dividends, or ownership dilution in the usual sense). It is not a traditional stock percentage stake but a unique control mechanism tied to the Nippon Steel acquisition approval. “White House Secures Corporate Governance Interest in the United States Steel Corporation - Harvard Law Review” LINK
Additional or Partial Stakes:
Other companies have been referenced in oversight letters and reports as receiving equity or warrants, though exact current percentages are less consistently detailed publicly:
Vulcan Elements — Commerce Department equity (~$50 million) + Department of Defense warrants (part of a larger ~$1.4 billion partnership including loans).
ReElement Technologies — Department of Defense warrants (and involvement in the Vulcan partnership).
Westinghouse Electric — Option/right to take an ~8% stake.
Mentions of Korea Zinc and others in broader critical minerals equity acquisitions.
These stakes represent a shift toward direct government equity participation in strategic sectors (often framed as national security/supply chain security). They are held by federal agencies
This makes the U.S. government a literal shareholder and partner in select firms, embodying fascist-style corporatism: the state fuses with big business, picks winners, distorts capital allocation, and creates dependency rather than allowing markets to reward productivity and innovation. True free markets reject such equity grabs as illegitimate wealth transfers and political favoritism.
Compounding this, the Trump administration has offered states hundreds of millions—including a $608 million FEMA Detention Support Grant Program—to build or expand ICE detention facilities, often modeled on large-scale or temporary camps and routed partly through military procurement channels. LINK
This subsidizes contractors and localities for a massive expansion of federal enforcement infrastructure. From a free-market view, this unconstitutional transmogrification of turning immigration enforcement into a multibillion-dollar public-works and private-prison program grows the administrative state and its spending, not minimal government.
Military welfarism adds further layers. Continued large-scale weapons transfers and aid to Israel, alongside precedents of seizing or freezing foreign assets (including Russian holdings tied to prior conflicts), divert taxpayer resources abroad and assert state power over property. These are not free-market non-interventionism; they are classic examples of government choosing sides in foreign disputes, funding allies with forced domestic contributions, and undermining rule of law through asset grabs. Such policies are like all resource-centralizing and conflict-perpetuating habits of collectivist regimes—socialist in their disregard for free will, Natural Rights, and individual property, and wrapped in nationalist/patriotic language.
Collectively, these actions show U.S. policy under Trump blending fascist economic fusion (state-corporate partnership), central-govt-pork-fascism to the various US states, and interventionist foreign welfarism. Free markets thrive on separation of state and economy, sound property rights, and peace through commerce—not government equity deals, subsidized detention empires, or overseas military transfers. Rhetoric against communism changes nothing when practice expands the very collectivism it claims to oppose.
**And if Americans don’t think that Trump and his followers in DC are not collectivist (Boston radio host Jeff Kuhner started blathering about “Natural Rights” as mentioned in the Declaration, despite the fact that he last year sneered at me mentioning Natural Rights for migrants being no different than the rights of all, IE NATURAL rights), here is Senator John Kennedy forcing YOU into his plans of war.
BUT WHAT OF MAMDANI’S IDEAS AND “POLICIES”? - Rent Freezes, Tax Increases = Immoral, and practically counter-productive…
Mamdani’s Rent Freeze and Tax Hikes: Free-Market Concerns Mount
New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani has delivered on a signature campaign promise with the Rent Guidelines Board’s 7-1 approval of a zero-percent rent increase for one- and two-year leases on roughly one million rent-stabilized apartments. The freeze, effective October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2027, covers about 27 percent of the city’s housing stock. LINK
His budget agenda also targets higher revenue through a proposed 2-percentage-point personal income tax increase on earners above $1 million, corporate tax hikes, and a pied-à-terre tax on second homes valued over $5 million—measures framed as closing budget gaps without broad-based hikes after an earlier property tax proposal was shelved. LINK
From a free-market standpoint, these interventions distort incentives and ignore basic economics. Price controls on rents sever the link between supply, demand, and cost. When rents are capped below market-clearing levels amid rising maintenance, insurance, and financing expenses, landlords reduce upkeep, convert units, or exit the market entirely. New construction stalls because expected returns fall. Historical NYC rent regulations contributed to housing decay and abandonment in areas like the South Bronx. Broader evidence shows rent controls shrink rental supply, misallocate units (tenants stay in oversized apartments), and create shortages—outcomes documented across cities from Cambridge, Massachusetts, to Stockholm. Economists across the spectrum have long concluded that such ceilings reduce both the quantity and quality of housing.
Taxing “the wealthy” encounters similar problems of definition and mobility. It is immoral to assume for one’s neighbor how much he values his labor and earnings.
A $1 million income threshold captures successful professionals and entrepreneurs, not merely idle billionaires, and thresholds shift with inflation or economic change. High earners and capital are highly mobile; evidence from Norway’s wealth tax, France’s former levy, and U.S. state comparisons shows measurable outflows to lower-tax jurisdictions such as Florida and Texas. This drains investable resources from private hands—where individuals allocate capital according to consumer signals and profit-and-loss discipline—into government spending shaped by political priorities, lobbying, and bureaucratic allocation. The result is slower wealth creation, reduced job formation, and diminished economic dynamism without solving underlying housing shortages. Free markets expand supply through price signals; these policies suppress them.

IMMIGRATION POLICE STATETo continue that theme we offered just above this segment… From the consistent free-market framework grounded in self-ownership, the non-aggression principle, and voluntary exchange, no government action is legitimate. The state is a coercive monopoly that necessarily violates self-ownership by imposing taxation, regulation, and territorial control without unanimous consent. It distorts price signals, misallocates resources away from consumer sovereignty, and substitutes political force for free association.
This applies directly to immigration and border policing. There is no legitimate “national” right to restrict peaceful movement or association between individuals. Property owners (or voluntary communities under private covenants) can set their own rules of entry and exclusion on their own land, but a monopolistic state apparatus claiming authority over an entire territory to “police immigration” is collective coercion, not market process. Heyyyy, at least we can reassure each other that we try to communicate with fellow appreciators of freedom and sanity! It’s been a dangerously political week, with demented warmongers and their corporate pals faking “dissention” between the US and Israel - while Marco Rubio sets up a “ceasefire” agreement between Israel and puppet Lebanon that, in essence, cedes the southern portion of Lebanon to Israel and targets the destruction of the only group protecting the Lebanese from Israel: Hezbollah. We will look at the latest on that, plus the charade the US Admin performs as it pretends US forces can “protect” ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz near the Omani coast. - Oh, man, is reality quite different from their puppet show. As always, please feel free to read all, or just portions, of the Assembly, to leave and return, and to SHARE the internal links and the whole release! WARIRAQBreaking - Some kind of shakeup is happening in Iraq, right now…
US/ISRAEL-IRANTensions escalated in the Strait of Hormuz Saturday, despite the US-Iran MoU aimed at reopening the waterway and halting hostilities. Six US aircraft—including F-35s and F-16 fighters— attacked four Iranian targets near the Strait of Hormuz on Friday, June 26. The US Admin claimed this was “in response” to Iran’s drone strike a cargo ship (M/V Ever Lovely) that did not abide by Iranian stipulations regarding passage through the Strait. CENTCOM confirmed strikes on what they claim are Iranian missile/drone storage sites and coastal radar.
THEN, there is the “US Posing as Protection” for ships passing near Oman. US military aircraft intensified surveillance and support operations over the strait, including an E-3 Sentry AWACS from Saudi Arabia, KC-135 refueling tankers operating from Qatar, the UAE, and Israel, and an MQ-4C Triton drone from Jordan, with fighter jets also active.
Mario spells out what I noted…
A Panama-flagged supertanker, the Kiku, carrying roughly 2 million barrels of Qatari crude bound for Fujairah in the UAE, was struck by an unidentified projectile while transiting the strait Saturday morning. The bridge sustained damage, but the crew was unharmed and no spill occurred. Navies raised the threat level to “substantial.” Here is the Guardian on it LINK
Iranian officials, including military advisor Mohsen Rezaee, accused the US of violating MoU articles 1 and 5 through strikes and support for proxy actions in the strait, warning of a “swift and decisive” response. There are credible reports of recent Iranian drone attacks targeting Bahrain, a key US ally in the Gulf that hosts the US Navy’s 5th Fleet headquarters. These appear to be part of a fresh round of tit-for-tat escalation.
Larry Johnson speculates that there is a possibility that, knowing how far US jets must travel to reach their Iranian targets, the Iranian tacticians intentionally will continue to hit anytime the US or its proxies (these ships evidently were told by UK forces to take this Omani route) quite visibly step out of line re the Strait of H. See the video linked at the end of the Sunday News Assembly to absorb Larry’s thoughts on the possibility that Iran’s tacticians might be working to see the US continue to waste jet fuel, which is rapidly depleting in the US…
ANNNND, Trump is issuing more bellicose fumology. Just insane.
AND, as we go to print, we see this - Iran definitely is striking, and Kuwait-US Bahrain joint areas are targeted.

This not only would shield Trump from international police trying to prosecute him for War Crimes, it might be a means by which Trump-Israel-Netanyahu can give a blessing of “immunity” to Netanyahu, Katz, Ben-Gvir, and others whom the ICC and ICJ seek to prosecute for such offenses. Headline “Trump’s Board of Peace plans to grant itself sweeping immunity, documents show” LINK
The draft resolution seeks to grant the BoP and its affiliates sweeping legal immunity from “any arrest, detention or legal proceedings in the courts or other entities in Gaza.” This would cover:
Board members
The Office of the High Representative
“Palestinian technocrats” selected to help administer Gaza
International military forces
Nonresident contractors (e.g., for reconstruction, security, or rubble removal)
It also allows the organization to obtain public property and premises in Gaza “free of charge” for its missions (bases, logistics hubs, etc.). Claims would be handled only through an internal BoP mechanism, with Trump able to waive immunity in some cases. The draft was not shared with Palestinian administrators.
Supporters of Palestinian self-determination view the BoP itself as problematic because it was designed as a “temporary external governance structure” for Gaza rather than a mechanism for immediate Israeli withdrawal and full Palestinian sovereignty. The “temporary” nature of the “Board” clearly is bogus, as well…
The new draft resolution intensifies those concerns for several interconnected reasons:
Entrenches Impunity and Removes Accountability
Immunity from Gaza’s courts (and potentially broader legal processes) means board personnel, foreign forces, and contractors cannot be prosecuted or sued locally for actions ranging from civilian harm, property damage, or abuse to broader policy decisions. Critics argue this creates a “legal system unto itself” with no meaningful external oversight, echoing longstanding complaints about lack of accountability in occupied territories. Experts quoted in the reporting (such as Noura Erakat and Omar Shakir) describe it as exempting the body from applicable international law on occupation and enabling potential violations without redress. LINK
Facilitates Unilateral Control Over Palestinian Land and Resources
The “free of charge” provision for public property allows the BoP to seize or repurpose land, buildings, and facilities without Palestinian consent or compensation. This is widely seen as a direct parallel to Israeli practices of land expropriation in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem. For those advocating an end to occupation, it represents the continuation (or internationalization) of dispossession rather than its reversal.
Undermines Palestinian Self-Determination and Agency
Palestinian “technocrats” involved in day-to-day administration are selected by the Board, not elected or chosen through Palestinian institutions. The BoP’s structure is highly centralized under Trump, with limited or no direct Palestinian representation on its executive bodies. While there is vague talk of eventual handover to the Palestinian Authority, the draft’s power grab and immunity provisions suggest a prolonged external trusteeship. Supporters of Palestinian freedom argue true liberation requires Palestinian control over their territory, not governance by an unelected, Trump-dominated international body that includes Israel.
Perpetuates Occupation Dynamics Across the Region
Many who support ending Israeli occupation in Gaza, the West Bank, and (in relevant contexts) southern Lebanon see the BoP as part of a broader pattern: managing Palestinian populations through external structures instead of dismantling the occupation and enabling a viable, sovereign Palestinian state. The plan’s focus on “New Gaza” redevelopment (luxury projects, business hubs, etc.) is often criticized as prioritizing economic normalization and external interests over Palestinian rights, including the right of return for refugees. The involvement of Israeli officials and the lack of pressure for full withdrawal reinforce fears that this replaces direct military occupation with a sanitized, internationalized version that maintains control.
Bypasses International Norms and Palestinian Consent
While initially UN-sanctioned, the BoP’s charter expanded its potential scope beyond Gaza, and the draft resolution operates largely internally with minimal transparency or Palestinian input. There is no traditional status-of-forces agreement. This fuels accusations of neocolonialism or a “power grab” that weakens established frameworks for ending occupations and achieving self-determination.
In short, from this perspective, the combination of external rule + broad immunity + free access to property does not advance Palestinian freedom or end occupation—it institutionalizes a new layer of unaccountable foreign (and Israeli-aligned) authority over Palestinian land and lives. It risks locking in the very dynamics of control, dispossession, and lack of redress that activists have long opposed, rather than dismantling them.

It might be worth recalling that NATURALIZATION is in the US govt’s “granted powers” but immigration control is not. Thus, to start, the feds can write statutes about how people can become citizens, but it cannot kidnap them and deport them if they don’t become citizens.
Then there is the ex-post-facto law prob. The Justice Department aims to file at least 250 such cases by October, vastly expanding efforts to revoke citizenship from naturalized Americans accused of fraud during their naturalization process. This policy change operates as ex-post-facto law. Naturalized citizens made their applications and built their lives under the legal regime of their time. The sudden surge—driven by internal memos prioritizing maximal pursuit and quotas for case referrals—retroactively intensifies scrutiny on past conduct, imposing new punitive consequences long after citizenship was granted. Such retroactive application contravenes the Constitution’s explicit ban on ex post facto laws, intended to prevent governments from changing rules to punish prior actions. This creates a climate of fear for millions of naturalized citizens, chills civic participation, and undermines the due process protections. AND Trump is trying to get away with it by claiming it’s just “management” not “law” within the Exec Branch.

Here is a good overview, from RT
Also, from RT, we note that Mises scholar Finn Andreen observes something about which I got to discuss with people yesterday on X, the fact that, given the increasingly potent capabilities of drones and the thirst for the NATO and EU gang to supply massive numbers of drones to Ukraine, the Russian forces likely will have to strike Kiev, hard, and try to knock out as many of Ukraine’s political and military leadership as possible if the Russians want to achieve a strong victory and end the Nazi-loving rule in Ukraine.
Meanwhile. Headline “NATO member admits ‘no evidence’ for Russian drone hysteria — RT World News” LINK
AND WHAT OF TRUMP’S CLAIM OF ENDING THE OLE “US IS PAYING FOR MOST OF NATO” SITUATION? - Totally bogus.SPECIAL REPORT - US-NATO - STILL DARK PARTNERS, AS US SUPPLIES EVEN HIGHER FUNDS -The United States has contributed more to NATO each year since 2022 in overall (absolute dollar) terms, whether measured by direct common-funded budgets or (more commonly discussed) national defense expenditures that provide the alliance’s military capabilities. The gap remains large, though European allies and Canada have increased their spending significantly since Russia’s 2022 invasion of Ukraine.
Clarification on What “Contributions to NATO” MeansNATO has two relevant categories:
Direct/common-funded budgets (Civil Budget for HQ operations, Military Budget for command structure/operations, and NATO Security Investment Programme/NSIP for infrastructure): These are small collective pots (~0.3% of total allied defense spending). Costs are shared by formula based largely on Gross National Income (GNI). The U.S. share was reduced from ~22% to ~16% starting around 2021 (jointly largest with Germany). LINK
National defense expenditures by member states: These fund each country’s own armed forces, equipment, personnel, etc., which constitute NATO’s collective defense capability. This is the standard metric in burden-sharing discussions and what “overall terms” usually refers to in public debate. NATO publishes standardized figures for these. LINK
Direct Common-Funded Contributions (Small Scale)Total common budgets have grown (especially after the 2022 Madrid Summit decisions to increase common funding):
Roughly €3.8 billion (~$4.1 billion) in 2024.
Around €4.6 billion (~$5 billion) in 2025.
Up to ~€5.3 billion planned for 2026.
nato.int
The U.S. contributes ~16% of these totals (roughly $650–800 million USD per year in recent years). Other members contribute the remaining ~84%, with shares scaled to their cost-share formula (e.g., Germany also ~15–16%, UK and France ~10% each). Exact year-by-year U.S. dollar figures for common budgets are not always published in the same standardized public format as defense expenditures.
These direct contributions are modest compared to national defense budgets.National Defense Expenditures (Overall Capability Contribution)Here are official NATO figures for total defense expenditure in current prices and exchange rates (USD billions). Figures for 2024 and 2025 are estimates.
The U.S. has contributed more each year — substantially more in absolute terms (typically 60–70% of the NATO total).
U.S. spending has risen steadily (from ~$835B to a projected ~$980B).
Other members’ combined spending has risen faster in percentage terms (from ~$355B to a projected ~$608B), reflecting post-2022 increases, especially in equipment and overall budgets. All allies are now meeting or exceeding the prior 2% of GDP target.
The U.S. share of the total has declined modestly as European/Canadian spending grew, but the U.S. remains by far the largest single contributor.
Notes on the data:
These are NATO-standardized figures (current prices/exchange rates). They include national spending on personnel, equipment, operations, maintenance, and net contributions to NATO common infrastructure. They align fiscal years appropriately across countries.
Europe + Canada totals exclude the U.S. and include all other current NATO members (with adjustments for new members like Finland and Sweden).
Top non-U.S. spenders in recent years include Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Poland, and Canada (exact rankings and figures vary slightly by year/source).
In summary, in direct contributions to NATO’s own budgets, the U.S. pays a reduced but still significant ~16% share (hundreds of millions USD annually), with others covering the rest per agreed formulas. In overall terms (national defense spending that underpins the alliance), the U.S. has contributed far more each year since 2022 — hundreds of billions more annually than all other members combined.

THIS COURT NEWS is sickening… “100-year sentence handed down in landmark ICE facility attack case — RT World News” LINK aaaand LINK There is a great deal to consider here. On the surface, this might appear to be a case of “Antifa” gangsters attacking the people in “law enforcement” who were trying to do their jobs. On a constitutional level, the immigration policing factor is not part of the US Constitution, so ICE is illegitimate, BUT, the Gov of Texas did ask the feds for help re migrants, so, under Article Four, Section Four, the feds are supposed to respond. BUUUUUT, on a deeper level, the feds only get their cash through taxation, which is aggressive, and they are kidnapping people who are not engaging in any violence against others. Would you be justified to engage in your own violent acts to stop the theives/kidnappers/cagers? - Here is more:
The case centers on the July 4, 2025, incident at the Prairieland Detention Center (an ICE facility) in Alvarado, Texas, near Dallas.
A group of roughly 11 people, some dressed in black bloc attire (dark clothing with face coverings), gathered at night. They set off and threw fireworks/explosives at the facility, vandalized vehicles and a guard kiosk (including graffiti like “Ice pig”), broke a surveillance camera, and brought firearms, body armor, and medical kits equipped for treating gunshot wounds.
When local police responded after ICE officers called 911, shots were fired. Alvarado Police Lt. Thomas Gross was struck in the neck (non-fatally). Benjamin Hanil Song, identified as the group’s leader and a former Marine reservist, was convicted of firing the shots (11 rounds before the rifle jammed).
Following a trial, and presentation of evidence (Signal chats with planning/reconnaissance discussions, phone location data showing devices powered down or placed in Faraday bags, DNA/fingerprint matches, surveillance video, recovered weapons, anarchist literature/flyers/zines such as “Fight ICE terror with class war,” and witness testimony), eight defendants were convicted on charges including:
Rioting with intent to commit violence
Using/carrying explosives
Providing material support to terrorists
Obstruction
Attempted murder of a law enforcement officer (for Song)
Sentences (announced around June 23):
Benjamin Hanil Song: 100 years
Maricela Rueda: 70 years
Others (e.g., Autumn Hill/Cameron Arnold, Savanna Batten, Zachary Evetts, Meagan Morris, Elizabeth Soto): 50 years each
Daniel “Des” Rolando Sanchez-Estrada: 30 years
The group received a combined ~450 years. Several others pleaded guilty to material support charges. This followed President Trump’s September 2025 executive order designating Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization, with DOJ officials calling it the first major such prosecution.
The defendants and their supporters framed their actions as a legitimate protest against U.S. government immigration policies—specifically, what they viewed as aggressive and inhumane ICE detention and mass deportation practices targeting undocumented immigrants (often called “illegal aliens” in official terms). They described the event as a planned “noise demonstration” or solidarity action with detainees at the facility, intended to draw attention to perceived injustices in the immigration system without initial violent intent.
Key points they emphasized:
Many participants (particularly some women in the group) claimed they believed it was a peaceful protest and had no advance knowledge of plans involving firearms or serious violence.
They strongly disputed the government’s characterization of them as an organized “North Texas Antifa Cell.” Defense attorneys argued no such formal group existed and that the prosecution lacked solid evidence of a structured terrorist organization, instead relying on loose ideological associations, social media, literature distribution (“zines”), and black bloc clothing.
Black bloc attire and encrypted communications were presented as standard tools for anonymity and safety in protests against potentially aggressive law enforcement, not evidence of conspiracy.
The anarchist literature and political materials were defended as protected First Amendment expression—political speech criticizing government policy.
They argued the government exaggerated or fabricated connections to “Antifa” and terrorism to justify overcharging, creating a chilling effect on dissent and protest rights. Supporters labeled the defendants the “Prairieland 19” (or similar) and portrayed the case as politically motivated suppression of anti-ICE activism.
en.wikipedia.org
In their view, these were just arguments rooted in opposition to what they saw as cruel, overreaching federal policies on immigration enforcement. Protesting detention centers and deportations, they contended, is a moral and constitutional response to government actions they believed harmed vulnerable people and violated principles of justice or humanity.
Critics of the prosecution (including defense teams, some media outlets, and civil liberties voices) highlighted several aspects as overly aggressive and disproportionate:
The rapid shift to terrorism-related charges and “material support to terrorists” statutes—unusually applied here—for what began as (or was claimed to be) a protest demonstration. This came shortly after the Antifa domestic terrorist designation and amid a broader Trump administration push for expanded ICE operations and mass deportations.
Extremely long sentences (decades to a century), described by some as harsher than many handed down in other high-profile political violence cases, such as aspects of the January 6 Capitol riot prosecutions. This is viewed as evidence of selective, politically driven enforcement aimed at deterring left-wing activism against immigration policy.
Reliance on ideology, appearance (black bloc), literature, and encrypted apps as key evidence, which critics say blurs the line between protected speech/association and criminal conduct, setting a dangerous precedent that could chill future protests.
The broader context of aggressive government tactics: intensified ICE enforcement creating flashpoints at facilities, combined with heavy surveillance, charging networks of supporters, and public framing by officials as a terrorist “cell” attack. Some see this as the state using its full power to crush opposition to its immigration agenda rather than addressing root policy debates.
youtube.com
Defendants’ supporters argue the government’s response prioritized punishing political dissent over proportionate justice, especially since the facility housed people awaiting deportation and the protest targeted perceived systemic cruelty.
The jury and judges ultimately rejected the defense framing. Court evidence showed coordinated planning, reconnaissance of the facility and nearby police response, bringing of multiple firearms and explosives to the scene, and direct violence (the shooting of an officer who was not even an ICE agent). Officials emphasized that this crossed far beyond protected protest into an armed attack on “law enforcement” and a federal facility. But who, initially, broke Natural Law? Clearly, it was the agents of the state. This is undeniable. This makes for valuable contemplation…

NY ELECTION - A DIFFERENT OPENER TODAY
Brad Lander, the former New York City Comptroller about whom I wrote for MRCTV in relation to his desire to have credit card companies track gun store sales, won the Democratic primary for New York’s 10th Congressional District on June 23, 2026, defeating two-term incumbent Rep. Dan Goldman. They KEYS were Lander’s opposition to the US backing Israel’s genocide in Gaza and Lander’s support for due process for the kidnap victims thrown into ICE cages. Lander was strongly backed by NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (who cross-endorsed with him after the 2025 mayoral race) and Sen. Bernie Sanders. The campaign highlighted divisions within the Democratic Party over the Israel-Gaza war, with Lander positioned as the more progressive/left-wing challenger. LINK
Broader sweep: Lander’s win was part of a “clean sweep” or “Mamdani wave” for his endorsed candidates. Progressives Claire Valdez and Darializa Avila Chevalier also won their House primaries that night (defeating or advancing strongly against incumbents in some cases)
AFTER the election, many of us discovered that a coffee shop owner in the area contacted Goldman and said that they found out he had frequented the shop. They told him he is not welcome there, because of his support for the genocidal Israel, and they refunded his credit card, saying they did not want that blood money. This upset hardcore Zionista Alan Dershowitz so much, he got the Trump DoJ to start a “discrimination” investigation of the shop owner.
BTW, here is Greenblastoma of the ADL claiming that it is inappropriate to call Goldman a genocide enabler. Strangely, voting to send money and weapons to people who are committing genocide not only makes one a “genocide enabler”, it makes one an accomplice to genocide and a war criminal.
Oh, and Elise $tefanik is unhappy.

ENERGY PRICES - OIL SUPPLIES IN THE US
Headline: “The tanks in Cushing, Oklahoma, are hitting bottom. The oil market is about to hit a tipping point | CNN Business” LINK I bring this up because some folks asked me what I meant when I mentioned the Cushing Tanks. That’s not Peter Cushing, sadly. It’s Cushing, OK. And those tanks are reaching their “don’t pull any more out of them” level, because pulling more out of the bottoms of the barrels would put supply-chain tech at risk of damage. Here’s the layout. “Bottom of the tanks” (or “tank bottoms”) is industry shorthand for when crude oil inventories at major storage hubs — especially Cushing, Oklahoma — have been drawn down so low that what’s left is mostly unusable residue or at the absolute minimum operational level. LINK
What “Tank Bottoms” Actually Are:
Crude oil storage tanks (the big white ones you see in photos of Cushing) are not designed to be pumped completely dry:
Physical tank bottoms — Over time, heavier components (asphaltenes, paraffin/wax, sediment, water, and sludge) settle at the very bottom of the tank. This forms a thick, gunky layer that is difficult or impossible to pump out cleanly without special cleaning equipment. It often doesn’t meet pipeline or refinery quality specs.
Operational minimum / suction line level — Tanks have outlet pipes (suction lines) that sit a certain height above the true floor. You can’t (or won’t) pump below that line without risking sucking up sludge, damaging equipment, or creating quality problems. Floating-roof tanks also need a minimum volume of oil to keep the roof from resting on the floor or getting damaged.
eia.gov
The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) explicitly defines tank bottoms as “volumes below the normal suction lines of a storage tank that may include water and sediment and are difficult to access.” - Cushing is the main commercial storage and pricing hub for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude — the benchmark for U.S. oil prices. It has dozens of large tanks with total shell capacity around 90+ million barrels (working/usable capacity is lower).Analysts and traders treat roughly 20 million barrels at Cushing as the collective “operational floor” or “tank bottoms” level:
Below this, storage operators and pipelines become reluctant to release more oil.
Further draws risk operational issues, quality degradation, or even force majeure declarations on deliveries.
Much of the remaining volume at that point is effectively unusable sludge rather than clean, marketable crude.
When experts say “Cushing is scraping the bottom of the tanks,” “hitting tank bottoms,” or “approaching operationally low levels,” they mean inventories have fallen close to (or into) this ~20 million barrel zone. Recent examples (mid-2026) saw levels drop into the low 20s or below 20 million barrels amid heavy exports and other draws, triggering exactly this discussion.

UKRAINE-RUSSIA
As if Trump and Biden didn’t screw up the world enough by waging this proxy war, shutting down energy lines and imposing tariffs for years… We recently saw Kier Starmer OKAY the USE OF STORM SHADOW MISSILES AGAINST RUSSIA (and the missiles need UK tech-meisters to operate, similar to how US-supplied arms require US tech advice, making the US complicit in more ways)… NOW, we get to see the crazy pro-Nazi mentality in Ukraine, for the umpteenth time… Headline “Zelensky to skip key ‘Ukraine recovery’ event over Nazi-collaborator scandal — RT World News” LINK
In late May, Ukrainian “President” Volodymyr Zelenskyy took two closely related actions honoring controversial World War II-era Ukrainian nationalist figures with documented ties to Nazi collaboration or atrocities. These moves—particularly the reburial of Andriy Melnyk and the naming of a military unit after the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA)—sparked significant backlash in Poland (and Israel). LINK
Let me give you some more info…
The “Dead Nazi”: Reburial of Andriy Melnyk (May 25, 2026)
Andriy Melnyk (1890–1964) was a leader of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN-M faction), a far-right Ukrainian independence movement - so Zelenskyy is playing on the old anti-soviet = anti-Russian theme… During WWII:
He advocated collaboration with Nazi Germany against the Soviet Union.
His group conducted espionage and sabotage operations with the Nazi Abwehr (military intelligence).
He supported Nazi racial policies targeting Jews and Poles and pushed for Ukrainian military formations under German command, including elements linked to the SS Galicia Division. LINK
Melnyk died in exile in Germany and was buried in Luxembourg. On May 25, 2026, Ukraine repatriated and reburied his remains (and those of his wife) at the National Military Memorial Cemetery near Kyiv with full state honors, including a military honor guard. Zelenskyy attended the ceremony alongside top officials. Zelenskyy described Melnyk and his wife as “iconic Ukrainians of the 20th century who are deeply respected” and part of Ukraine’s “pantheon of heroes.” In a post, he wrote: “Colonel Andriy Melnyk returned to a different Ukraine—not the one he had been forced to leave, but the one he had dreamed of... Glory to every Ukrainian hero! Glory to all our Ukrainian warriors! Glory to our people!” He framed it as restoring historical memory and justice.
The very next day, Zelenskyy signed a decree granting an elite unit of Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces the honorary title “Heroes of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army” (UPA). The UPA was the armed wing of the OUN (primarily the more radical Bandera faction). During WWII it fought Soviets, Nazis, and Poles. Its most notorious actions were the Volhynia massacres (1943–1945) in what is now western Ukraine and eastern Poland:
UPA fighters carried out ethnic cleansing and mass murder of Polish civilians, with estimates of 50,000–100,000+ killed (including women, children, and the elderly).
Atrocities often involved extreme brutality (axes, pitchforks, burning people alive).
Poland views this as genocide or war crimes; the UPA also killed Jews and Ukrainians who opposed them.
From the so-called “Ukrainian Govt” perspective? Many view UPA fighters as anti-Soviet (and sometimes anti-Nazi) partisans who fought for Ukrainian independence. Previous Ukrainian presidents have also honored related figures.Polish perspective and reaction: Poland sees the decree as glorifying murderers of Polish civilians. In mid-June 2026, Polish President Karol Nawrocki revoked Zelenskyy’s Order of the White Eagle (Poland’s highest state honor, awarded in 2023 for Ukraine’s defense of democratic values and security cooperation). He called the move “outrageous,” “incomprehensible,” and “deeply disappointing,” accusing it of glorifying “bandits and killers” and fueling Russian propaganda. LINK

RAND-FAUCI-TULSI G
Tulsi’s release of info showing that former NIAID (in NIH) director Anthony Fauci was not only WARE of gain-of-function work being funded by the US overseas, but that he pushed it and tried to hide it from public eyes? It comes a weeee bit late. She could have released this information in the first two weeks of her getting into the seat as head of Nat Intel. Some folks are pleased, however, because, as a result of the Gabbard document release, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) is calling for a subpoena for Fauci to testify under oath, and Rand will expose Fauci having perjured himself during previous appearances before the House and Senate. BUT, as David Knight has noted, Rand avoids citing TRUMP for starting the jab rollout, triggering the shutdowns, and handing out massive favors/cash to fascistically connected corporations. Additionally, there hovers over Rand’s head is his wife’s well-timed purchase of Gilead Pharma stock. First… the latest news on the subpoena, which we did not get to discuss last night on Liberty Conspiracy! Headline: “Rand Paul Issues Subpoena Forcing Fauci to Testify Under Oath • Children’s Health Defense” LINK
- NOW, I want to lay out what I have come to know about the “stock purchase” alarm many feel re Rand and his wife. Despite calling Rand a friend, I, too, have concerns about this, and I wanted to look into the matter. My concerns have not been allayed.
Rand Paul’s wife (Kelley Paul) purchased a small amount of stock in Gilead Sciences (maker of remdesivir) in February 2020, and the late disclosure drew significant criticism. Here’s a clear, evidence-based breakdown of the facts, the criticism, and an assessment of its validity. HERE BE the key facts, from what I can gather, thus far…
On February 26, 2020, Kelley Paul bought between $1,000 and $15,000 worth of Gilead Sciences stock.
This was the couple’s only individual stock purchase in at least 10 years (they otherwise held mutual funds, ETFs, etc.). LINK
Timing context:
One day after the first U.S. clinical trial for remdesivir as a COVID-19 treatment began (announced by NIH around Feb. 25).
Before the WHO declared COVID-19 a pandemic (March 11, 2020).
When there were still relatively few confirmed U.S. cases.
Remdesivir later received FDA Emergency Use Authorization in May 2020 as the first specific COVID-19 treatment. LINK
Disclosure: Required within 45 days under the STOCK Act (for transparency on potential conflicts/insider trading). Paul filed it on August 11, 2021 — over 16 months late. LINK
Paul’s office explained that he prepared the form in 2020 but it was not transmitted due to an “oversight.” He only discovered this while preparing his annual disclosure, then filed it (with Senate Ethics Committee guidance). Kelley Paul used her own earnings as an author/consultant. Gilead stock traded around $74–75/share at purchase. It fluctuated (peaked near $84, later dropped below purchase price at times). Reports indicated Kelley had not sold the shares by late 2021, and Paul’s spokesperson stated she “lost money” on the investment (unrealized/paper loss in periods when the price was lower). LINK
Critics (media outlets, Democratic opponents like Kentucky candidate Charles Booker, and the Campaign Legal Center) argued:
Late disclosure violated the STOCK Act’s transparency rules, preventing timely public scrutiny during the early pandemic.
Suspicious timing: The buy occurred early in the crisis, around the time Congress (including the Senate health committee Paul sits on) had received briefings on the virus threat. This created the appearance of possible foreknowledge or opportunism.
Conflict of interest: As a senator involved in health policy during a pandemic where remdesivir became a key treatment, any financial stake (even small/indirect via spouse) in its maker raised questions about bias or benefiting from pandemic-related developments.
Some compared it to other senators’ controversial pandemic-era trades and called for resignation or stronger accountability. The Campaign Legal Center filed a formal complaint with the Senate Ethics Committee in August 2021 alleging a possible STOCK Act violation. LINK
Paul has been a vocal critic of COVID lockdowns, mask mandates, Anthony Fauci, and certain official policies. He emphasized individual liberty and questioned aspects of the response. No prominent evidence shows him specifically promoting or legislating in favor of remdesivir.
Is the Criticism Valid? Partially valid — strongest on transparency/disclosure, weaker on implying corruption or policy influence.
Valid points to list!…
The late disclosure was a clear failure to meet STOCK Act requirements. Timely reporting exists precisely so the public can evaluate potential conflicts in real time. An “oversight” explanation does not fully excuse missing the deadline by over a year, especially amid heightened scrutiny of congressional trading in 2020. The ethics complaint was reasonable on procedural grounds. LINK
The timing creates a legitimate appearance problem. Buying stock in a company with a drug in COVID trials, right as the pandemic was emerging and after congressional briefings, looks opportunistic to many observers — even if coincidental. Disclosure rules aim to address exactly these optics.
Weaker or overstated points:
No evidence of personal gain or insider trading. The investment was small, Paul claims he was unaware of it at the time, and reports consistently state a loss (or at least no realized profit). There is no public record of Paul selling the shares for gain or of him using non-public information.
No clear link to policy influence or hypocrisy. Paul did not prominently champion remdesivir. His COVID skepticism (anti-mandates, criticism of Fauci, focus on early treatment alternatives like those favored in some conservative circles) was consistent with his long-standing libertarian views and did not obviously align with boosting Gilead’s drug. Many senators and their families hold pharma or other stocks; the issue here is more the specific timing + late disclosure than routine ownership.
Enforcement of the STOCK Act has historically been weak (the complaint against Paul appears to have produced no public sanctions or major findings, consistent with patterns for similar cases). LINK
In short: The episode legitimately highlights problems with congressional disclosure enforcement and the appearance of conflicts during crises. However, it does not substantiate stronger claims of Paul profiting from or deliberately advancing remdesivir-related interests. The criticism gained traction partly because it occurred alongside scrutiny of other senators’ trades early in the pandemic. Congressional stock ownership by members and spouses remains a broader, ongoing debate about ethics rules.
