“Negotiations” between the aggressor state of the US and the defender state of Iran have reached their most advanced stage yet, centered on a one-page, 14-point memorandum of understanding (MOU) intended as a short-term framework to formally end the US aggression and attempt to blockade the Persian Gulf. The proposal would reopen the Strait of Hormuz to shipping, lift the US naval blockade on Iranian ports, and begin a 30- to 60-day window for deeper talks on sanctions relief, nuclear issues, and regional security. The Iranians are insisting that the plan includes lifting of US sanctions, repatriation of the funds that were supposed to be returned under the JCPOA, an end to Israeli attacks on Lebanon, and reparations for US damages and murders in Iran.
Pakistani mediators have played a key role shuttling proposals. No final agreement has been signed, but both sides publicly describe the text as close to completion, with final details still under discussion.
Trump’s Claims:
Trump posted on Truth Social that “An Agreement has been largely negotiated, subject to finalization between the United States of America, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the various other Countries… Final aspects and details of the Deal are currently being discussed, and will be announced shortly.” He specifically highlighted that the deal would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and said the progress followed calls with leaders from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain (plus a separate call with Israeli PM Netanyahu). Iranian Government Claims:
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmail Baghaei announced on state television that the parties are “finalizing” the 14-clause memorandum of understanding as a “kind of framework agreement.” He emphasized that Iran’s priority is “ending the war” on all fronts (including Lebanon), ensuring secure shipping through the Strait of Hormuz without US “piracy” or tolls, and lifting the blockade. Baghaei noted the MOU includes 30- and 60-day timeframes for further talks but stressed it has “not yet been finalized” and described the situation as “both very far and very close” given the deep differences. Iran continues to insist on its right to peaceful nuclear activities and sanctions relief. Between October 2023 and October 2025, Israel imported military-related goods worth 3.22 billion shekels ($886 million) from 51 countries, with 91 percent arriving after the ICJ's January 2024 provisional measures on South Africa's genocide case. The US supplied 42 percent, India 26 percent, and explosive munitions dominated at 62 percent of the total—shipments that continued through ceasefires and even after the October 2025 truce. Legal experts say these transfers may breach obligations under the Genocide Convention and Arms Trade Treaty, as countries like France, Spain, and Canada sent goods despite their own calls for halts. Israel maintains the imports support its defense against Hamas.

UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s plummeting approval and Labour’s poor polling signal a likely ouster before year’s end, with analysts pegging odds at 80% and prediction markets favoring it by December 2026 amid U-turns, internal revolts, and cost-of-living woes. Starmer has continued a disastrous set of UK policies, ranging from energy starvation via “green” edicts and blockages of Russian fuel (they just changed that latter policy to allow shipments), to silencing of dissent over the genocide in Gaza. It is unlikely he will remain in office through July. Starmer seems completely incapable of getting a clue

As we look at the UK tie to Ukraine’s attack on Russian school lids, let’s recall this, from March. Britain’s announcement of its largest-ever drone package—over 120,000 units including long-range strike and reconnaissance models delivered in 2026—exemplifies how governments waste taxpayer funds escalating foreign conflicts rather than pursuing peace. This UK push to a “military economy” pushes endless war in Ukraine at British citizens’ expense, violating non-intervention by arming one side in a dispute better resolved through diplomacy, and diverting resources from domestic freedoms to military-industrial profiteering. -Broadview ILL Detention Center saw ICE/DHS arrest six innocent people who were protesting. This is the status of their cases: “All charges dropped against 'Broadview Six' after feds admit to errors in case” LINK
AND… Let’s recall the political-economics of this corrupt system.
The Trump administration’s “Detention Reengineering Initiative” includes plans to spend billions (one reported figure is $38+ billion) acquiring and retrofitting commercial warehouses nationwide into large-scale ICE detention and processing centers to handle mass deportations. Critics, including Democratic lawmakers, immigration advocates, and some local officials, allege the move bypasses normal competitive bidding (via military procurement channels), risks inhumane conditions in non-purpose-built facilities, and creates windfall profits for private contractors — with GEO Group (a major existing ICE detention operator) added to pre-qualified vendor lists and facing scrutiny over revolving-door ties (e.g., a former GEO executive now overseeing ICE detention contracts). A handful of politicians have launched investigations into potential conflicts and profiteering. Compared to low baseline rates at end-2024 (around 2-3%), 2026 Trump tariffs imposed broad 10% “reciprocal” duties on most nations—with higher rates on China, India, and Russia (plus sanctions), moderated deals for Japan/EU/UK around 15%, and some exemptions—represent protectionist taxes that raise consumer costs and distort free trade. Libertarians oppose all tariffs as barriers harming Americans first, advocating unilateral free markets over retaliatory cronyism that fails to shrink deficits. LINK

The May 20, US indictment of 94-year-old Raul Castro on 1996 murder charges (for his overseeing the downing of two US jets hired by Cuban-Expats who wanted to overthrow the Cuban government and who flew over Cuban airspace), coupled with Trump’s regime-change rhetoric and blockade threats, embodies dangerous imperialist overreach that risks military escalation against a sovereign nation. Libertarian peace advocates reject such interventions as violations of non-aggression, arguing voluntary diplomacy and open trade—not arrests or overthrow plots—better promote liberty by letting Cubans determine their own path without foreign coercion.
Of course, Mr. Trump doesn’t care about peace, the US Constitution, or morality. He is sending the USS Nimitz to Cuban waters…

…and a few days ago, Trumpola and Rubio sent CIA Dir Ratcliff to Havana, and Ratcliff is said to have brought with him figures who are tied to forces of “regime change” in Venezuela. Ratcliffe reportedly took an operative tied to the kidnapping of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and the deaths of Cuban personnel in Venezuela to a unique meeting with Cuban officials in Havana last week, according to reports.

UKRAINE just hit a Russian dorm, killing at least 6 people, injuring 39. This was a three-phase, SIXTEEN rocket/drone strike that leaves survivors struggling to stay alive as rescuers try to get to them. This development, as well as recent Ukraine drone flights over Estonia and into Finland, indicate a thirst on the part of Zelinsky to draw Russia to hit European interests (European interests supplying weapons, intel, etc). 1. US-ISRAEL-IRAN-GAZA-LEBANON-WEST BANK

IRAN

The US-IRAN “negotiations,” mediated by Pakistan and Gulf states, seek a ceasefire after months of conflict. Al Arabiya reported a leaked draft for an immediate ceasefire, free Gulf navigation, and gradual sanctions relief, but U.S. and Iranian officials have not confirmed it, with reports calling it a placeholder missing key demands like nuclear dismantling. Israeli intelligence is ginning up energy for a new series of strikes by claiming that they have “intel” of a potential Iranian missile and drone attack, while President Trump has paused strikes to give his fraudulent “diplomacy” a chance.

The Strait of Hormuz currently is seeing about 30% of its old traffic. This, mostly, is being facilitated by Iran. Yet US Admin figures continue to act as if they have some kind of leverage, when all the US can do is prolong the problem. The Trump Admin must back off, but he will not do so.

Remember, the vote for Gallrein was historically a virtual impossibility. Here is a reminder of how few people attended his “election night rally”

TED CRUZ, the perfect example, neglects to mention that Israel and the US gave millions to Hamas, that Israel has prompted the US to make more enemies in the Middle East than the US would have if not allied with Israel, that Israel is an illegal occupation and genocide state sitting on other people’s land, kidnapping women and kids, torturing them, starving them, bombing them (in Palestine, the West Bank, and Lebanon) and kidnapping sailors in international waters, then torturing them. Cruz also neglects to mention that the US Constitution doesn’t allow for any of this “aid” when not at War.

Evidently, Cruz supports this kind of twisted mindset.

A reminder of the genocide

-Trump claims Netanyahu will do whatever he wants - implying that each time Israel engaged in war crimes, genocide, land grabs, and assassinations in any nation, those were prompted by the US.

We did not get to discuss this last night on Liberty Conspiracy, but it signifies the astounding double-standards of Trump and his team. When Raul Castro led Cuba’s Defense force and the conflict cited by the US occurred, Castro and his government repeatedly had warned the US not to send planes over Cuban airspace. The internals within the US government showed that intel figures warned against it, yet Trump now wants to prosecute the 94-year-old for his actions — this, the Trump Admin that freely has killed nearly 120 people in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, far outside of US airspace or waters, without any trial, this, the US gang that has engaged in international assassinations, blockades, and killing of 170 children in Iran (and more in Iran)… WOW - Headline from ANTIWAR “Trump Administration Indicts Cuba’s Former President, Setting Up Pretext for War - News From Antiwar.com” LINK Daniel McAdams and Ron Paul offer key details on the situation at the time. And, of course, for Trump, it’s all to “help” Cuba (even though the US has impoverished the people and blocked us from trading with them, in addition to the collectivist economics of Cuba being not-so-smart in the first place)

Gas prices could reach record highs this summer, according to GasBuddy, with the national average projected to hit $4.48 a gallon by Memorial Day and climb to $4.80 over the summer amid the growing Iran conflict. This, likely, is underestimation, especially if the US hits Iran again and Iran retaliates against the UAE, Saudis, and Bahrain. Such a scenario also likely would see the Ansar Allah folks in Yemen help Iran by closing the Red Sea… Prices for a gallon of gas by November likely would average over $8.50 per gallon.

As we mentioned on Liberty Conspiracy Live, last night, Washington’s central planners have done it again. By years of sanctions, proxy meddling, and economic strong-arming aimed at isolating Russia, U.S. officials have helped push Moscow and Beijing into what may become the most consequential economic and strategic alignment outside the Western system. It is the textbook case of state coercion producing the precise opposite of its intended result. Instead of weakening Russia, the barrage of political barriers and financial pressure has accelerated a deeper partnership between the two powers. This week Presidents Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping signed a broad array of agreements covering energy, finance, artificial intelligence, transportation, manufacturing, and military coordination. Among the most significant moves is renewed momentum on the Power of Siberia 2 pipeline project, which would permanently redirect large volumes of Russian energy away from Europe and toward China. At the same time, the two nations are expanding trade outside the dollar system and constructing financial channels explicitly designed to bypass Western sanctions and banking leverage. What is emerging is not simply more commerce, but a parallel economic architecture spanning Eurasia—one built on mutual benefit rather than political command. The contrast with President Trump’s recent agreements with China is telling. Those deals were largely transactional: tariff pauses, agricultural purchases, and efforts to stabilize markets. The Putin-Xi framework goes further, laying long-term infrastructure, integrated industrial systems, alternative payment rails, and technological cooperation meant to reduce dependence on Western institutions altogether. Europe, meanwhile, continues to absorb the costs of the very policies that helped produce this outcome: elevated energy prices, deindustrialization, sluggish growth, and debt pressure. What Western strategists once feared most—a durable Russia-China economic axis capable of challenging the established order—now takes clearer shape as a direct consequence of interventionist overreach. When governments substitute coercion for voluntary exchange, market participants and sovereign actors simply find new routes around the obstacles. When we got to play Judge Napolitano with Phil Giraldi discussing Hegseth’s appearance in KY to campaign for Gallrein, Phil mentioned Trump handing $1.7 Billion in IRS confiscated-to-be-returned funds to his friends. I had planned on expanding on that to offer context. Judge Napolitano does it, right here. Headline “Do we still have a Constitution?” LINK

- Last fall, Larry Bushart (a 61-year-old retired police officer from Tennessee) posted several memes on Facebook in the comments of a thread about a local candlelight vigil for Charlie Kirk (who was assassinated in September 2025). And one meme led to his arrest. It showed:

• A photo of President Donald Trump

• The quote: “We have to get over it”

• Text explaining that Trump made the comment one day after the Perry High School mass shooting in Iowa

Bushart added the caption: “This seems relevant today…”He posted it in a local Facebook group/thread honoring Kirk, apparently as a critical or satirical counterpoint to the mourning and attention Kirk was receiving.He also shared other memes that criticized or joked about Kirk / Turning Point USA (which the sheriff later referred to as “hate memes”), but the Trump “We have to get over it” meme was the one authorities focused on. Perry County Sheriff Nick Weems claimed the post alarmed residents, who misinterpreted it as a threat of mass violence against the local Perry County High School in Tennessee (the shared “Perry” name caused confusion, even though the meme clearly referenced the Iowa shooting). Bushart was arrested in September, held on a $2 million bond, and spent 37 days in jail. The felony charge later was dropped. But, Bushart sued Perry County and the sheriff (with help from the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression — FIRE), arguing it was a First Amendment violation (technically, it is not a violation of the federal 1st A, since that only specifically prohibits Congress from abridging speech, and one has to look at the TN Constitution for a prohibition against the state interfering in speech - which you will find, here). In May 2026, he reached an $835,000 settlement with Tennessee officials. This is the core of what he posted, based on consistent reporting from CBS News, local outlets, PBS, and FIRE’s case description. The meme itself was not created by Bushart — he shared an existing one with his own caption. LINK

‘In various ratings systems maintained by groups such as Heritage Action and Conservative Review, Massie has always been an exemplary congressman. Once, that would have meant something. When Massie was first elected to Congress in 2012, the Tea Party era was in full swing, and Republicans were expected to pass those purity tests or be cast out.

Now, being liked by Trump is the only test that matters. Gallrein passed it. He’s even defended Trump’s war in Iran as part of a “five-dimensional chess” effort to reset “the entire global power structure.”

Headline: “Senate advances war powers measure after GOP’s Cassidy switches sides” Link — The Senate just took a procedural step forward on a War Powers Resolution aimed at forcing President Trump to end (or get congressional approval for) U.S. military involvement in the Iran war. This happened yesterday, via a 50-47 vote on a motion to discharge the measure (a joint resolution sponsored by Sen. Tim Kaine, D-Va.) from the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. LINK - It’s the first time such a resolution has cleared this hurdle after multiple failed attempts since Trump unconstitutionally and unethically ordered strikes on Iran in late February 2026 (now past the 60-day War Powers Act clock). Sen. Cassidy —who just lost his GOP primary to a Trump-backed challenger—provided the decisive fourth Republican vote, joining Sens. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Susan Collins (R-Maine), and Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska). Most Democrats supported it; Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) was the lone Democratic no. — What happens next (procedurally and realistically):

1. Senate floor vote on final passage — The resolution now moves to the full Senate for a debate and up-or-down vote on final passage. Timing isn’t set yet (could be in the coming days or weeks), but it’s expected soon. Three Republicans were absent on the procedural vote (Sens. John Cornyn, Thom Tillis, and Tommy Tuberville). If they (or others) vote no on final passage, it could fail on a 50-50 tie (Vice President Vance would break it against the measure).

2. If it passes the Senate (needs a simple majority) — It goes to the Republican-controlled House of Representatives. Similar House measures have failed narrowly or been blocked before, so passage there is very unlikely.

3. If it somehow passes both chambers — President Trump has made clear he opposes these efforts and would almost certainly veto it. Overriding a veto requires a two-thirds majority in both the House and Senate, which is not realistic given current partisan dynamics.

The Israeli monsters have been recording their cocky mistreatment of the Sumud Flotilla sailors whom the IDF kidnapped on the open sea. Italian PM Meloni is expressing intense anger and opposition, while Mike Huckabee remains silent.

Building on legislation passed in March by the Knesset, under which a military order makes execution the default punishment for Palestinians convicted in military courts of killing Israelis. Israel amended its death penalty law to include the occupied West Bank - yet another move to further the Zionist goal of ethnically cleansing Palestinians. The law states: “Where a court has imposed a death sentence, it shall issue an order specifying that the sentence shall be executed by hanging,” and “shall be executed within 90 days of the date it [the sentence] becomes final.”
The law applies exclusively to Palestinians, who will be tried under Israel’s military court system. Jewish Israelis are not prosecuted under the same courts, nor are they subject to the same mandatory punishment structure.
Israel is holding thousands of Palestinians in detention, many of whom are held without fair trials, subjected to torture, and now face the death penalty. These are individuals who may be innocent, with children and grieving families.
In related news, as we mentioned last night on Liberty Conspiracy LIVE, Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich was informed that the ICC had issued a confidential arrest warrant for him. The reason likely falls into the parameters of the ICC slogan, which is, “Trying individuals for genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity, and aggression,” we can make an educated guess on that one.
He seems to think he’s untouchable and above international law, as he responded by saying the warrants are “a declaration ⁠of war,” and “in the face of a declaration of war, we will fight back with a vengeance.”
Smotrich proceeded to announce that he “will sign an order to evacuate Khan al-Ahmar,” a Palestinian village in the West Bank. Some are interpreting this as a threat to ethnically cleanse the area. Either way, with the death penalty law now in effect in the region, more Palestinians are being placed in grave danger.
As Natali Morris, of Redacted, observed in her morning Subscriber Email:
’It’s clear Israel is operating without restraint or consequences and is positioning itself as a state with the authority to decide who lives and who dies, with no regard for basic human rights.
If another country committed acts of genocide and introduced laws such as these, do you think the U.S. would openly support and fund them, too? How is this even allowed to happen?’

Massie has a good sense of humor, despite the dark tactics used against him. (This X post, coming from people who don’t seem to want folks to know how much cash Israeli forces handed to Gallstone.)

The polls close in a few hours. As the AIPAC and other outside lobbies fund Gallrein 5X what Massie has raised (Massie did not take donations from any international groups). Yet Gallrein pretends he is a local creation and somehow represents “American values” - whatever that loaded term means in the hands of the political sculptors of the moment.

And Massie’s stance as the future of the GOP seems to be invisible to the establishment-AIPAC-eaters at the GOP

And look at how Hammer, of FOX, allows Gallrein to make his claims, in fact, opening the door to giving people the impression that Massie is backed by a massive money machine, when the point is that GRASSROOTS supporters turned out in far higher numbers to donate to Massie

The GOP doesn’t like someone who votes most consistently with the GOP platform, in fact, they try to use Massie’s votes against poison-pill-tied bills as his opposition to key GOP positions. Stephen Miller is particularly guilty in this regard

And Israel knows the importance of this referendum on Israeli influence.

But people like Shapiro will try to depict criticism of a state and of genocide and of state-funded abortion (Israel gets US tax cash to fund abortions through their govt-run medical system) as “antisemitic”

Trump now says he changed his mind on conducting an attack on Iran he had planned for today because he heard from a cadre of Mid-East national leaders who asked him to put it off. None of those leaders says they were aware he was planning on any attack, and Larry Johnson noted to Danny Haiphong that Trump’s military lines had not packed the proper orders and resources into the region (particularly Saudi) to initiate such an attack.

A major driver for some of the Mid-Eastern reluctance to back the US this time (both Saudi and the UAE were very compliant w the US, incorrectly assuming the US actions on Feb 28 would lead to a victory over Iran) is the fact that, on May 17, a drone strike—attributed by UAE officials to Iran or pro-Iranian proxies operating from Iraqi territory—hit an electrical generator outside the inner perimeter of the Barakah Nuclear Power Plant in Abu Dhabi’s Al Dhafra region. The attack sparked a fire but caused no injuries, no damage to the reactors themselves, and no radiation leak; Reactor 3 lost off-site power for about 24 hours and had to switch to emergency diesel backup generators for the first time in the history of a fully operating nuclear power plant under military threat. UAE authorities condemned it as a “terrorist attack,” while the IAEA confirmed normal radiation levels. This was a warning to the UAE. By hitting the backup-gen, the Iranians knew they would not be creating a risk of meltdown, but were warning the UAE government that, should the UAE link again with the USA, they could create a chain reaction with the UAE unable to start a backup cooling system. Meanwhile, Russian officials continue to offer correct information, unlike the Trump Admin, the US Speaker, and many others in the US who want to use your tax money to continue attacking Iran

Reports say that Pakistani reps are in Saudi right now, signaling to Trump that the two nations might further turn away from the US…

In September, 2025, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan formalized the Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement (SMDA), a bilateral mutual-defense pact under which an attack on one is treated as an attack on both. The deal builds on decades of military cooperation (including training, equipment sharing, and troop deployments) and was recently activated amid heightened Iran-Saudi tensions, with Pakistan sending approximately 8,000 troops, JF-17 fighter jets, drones, and an HQ-9 air-defense system to Saudi Arabia. While early rumors suggested possible expansion to include Turkey, the pact has remained strictly bilateral. It is widely viewed as Riyadh’s effort to diversify security partnerships beyond the United States and as a deterrent signal in the region. LINK

It occurred despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire with Hezbollah that began April 16 and was recently extended by 45 days. Lebanon’s Health Ministry reported at least six deaths across south Lebanon

During rival demonstrations in central London on Saturday —one a far-right “Unite the Kingdom” rally organized by Tommy Robinson featuring numerous St. George’s Cross flags, and the other a large pro-Palestine Nakba Day march—at least one speaker and several demonstrators publicly highlighted the historical fact that England’s patron saint, St. George, was Palestinian. The speaker linked below noted that St. George was born to a Palestinian mother (with ties to the region of modern-day Israel/Palestine, specifically Lydda), was martyred for his Christian faith, and is still venerated locally as Mar Girgis; protesters carried signs reading “ST GEORGE WAS A PALESTINIAN” to underscore the irony of far-right groups celebrating a figure with deep Middle Eastern roots. Ukraine just carried out one of its largest-ever long-range drone operations against Russia, launching nearly 600 drones in a single overnight wave targeting Moscow and multiple other regions. Russian authorities reported intercepting most of the drones but confirmed at least four deaths and damage to infrastructure in the Moscow area and elsewhere; Ukrainian officials described the strikes as justified retaliation for recent Russian missile and drone barrages on Ukrainian cities. The attacks reflect Kyiv’s growing capability to conduct deep strikes inside Russia using improved mid- and long-range drone technology, increasing pressure on Moscow’s air defenses and energy facilities.
