HOUR 1 (09/03) - After days of social media panic over whether Hurricane Marie could somehow make a rare run toward Southern California. Meteorologists now say the chance of an actual hurricane hitting California is essentially zero. The NBA has handed down sweeping penalties against the Clippers after concluding the organization's circumvented salary-cap rules in connection with off-court endorsement income for Kawhi Leonard. The Lindsay Clancy jury returns Thursday for a sixth day of deliberations after telling the judge for a second time Wednesday that it still cannot reach a unanimous verdict.
