Some of his accolades includes Captain with Lewisville FD & East Lincoln FD, Asst Chief for 10 years with South Iredell FD, Fire Investigator with Charlotte FD, The Fire Marshall rank positions with Mooresville, Statesville and Forsyth along with canine handler for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Fire Arms and most recently Fire Chief for Clemmons FD.
