Brandon, Joe, and Allan are joined by Mike Sarapholian from Tri-State Interiors to explore the amazing amount a geeky gadgets now available for the bathroom to the kitchen. Some of these features are so good, we might not ever see Brandon again. Then, Brandon is joined by Scott and Alexis Carroll for a celebration of 40 years of "The Legend Of Zelda", one of the world's most popular video games.

Joe and Brandon are joined by Danny Chamberlin and Denise Hager from the pop culture and science fiction convention Mid-South Con. This is a Memphis tradition celebrating its 41st year. They go over what you can expect when you attend a convention like this and how it covers so many topics in a weekend. Save the date (March 20-22), and we will see there.

Brandon rolls in with updates on the leadership changes in the Star Wars production universe. We will see what happens next. Then, he has lots of information for Joe and Allan about the new Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. So far it looks promising with a talented cast and the proper "Trek Attitude".

Joe and max have discovered out of the ordinary musical acts. Brandon and Allan school them on the long and illustrious history of unusual acts that range from talented yet odd to the amazingly bad. Yes, homework was assigned.

The guys cover a lot of ground this week. Joe has discovered crock pot cooking and has questions. Allan explains the "new" technique of cold oven cooking. Brandon dives into the Warner Brothers and Netflix merger. Allan has a dancing robot update, then Joe introduces Cliff, Aubrey, and Stephen from the local convention ShadowCon celebrating its 29th year in Memphis. They cover the history of the convention and outline the many wonderful reasons why you should attend this year.

Brandon takes Joe to task over the new trailer for Supergirl. There just might be more here than just a popcorn movie. Then, Allan is ready for a new movie theater experience. The guys come up with what the movie theater of the future might look like.

Joe and Allan get the news from Max that the city of Detroit now has a statue of Robocop. At eleven feet tall and 3,500 pounds, it makes quite a statement. Then, the guys dive into the ever growing world of Lego. A quick glance at this year's releases will let you know that there is a Lego kit for any skill level or price point. There is a lot of fun in those bricks.

The Geek Patrol has lots of holiday cheer as they are joined by roving correspondent Scott J. Carroll and movie producer, Kate Mobley. Kate is introducing her new movie "A Mary Little Christmas" that she wrote and produced. The movie was shot in Memphis and Bartlett, TN. It is a feel good holiday movie with a positive look at Memphis. It is now available at numerous online sources. They all wrap up the show by adding a little spice to the holidays. Specifically, the new brand of gourmet spices now being released by the show's own "Food Dude", Allan.

Brandon leads Joe and Allan into the world of the best known horror/sci-fi in the world, Frankenstein. This version was produced, written, and directed by Guillermo del Toro. He explores a number of deep social and family issues normally glossed over in earlier versions. Oscar Isaac was set free to act out why the good doctor was more of a monster than his creation. Jacob Elordi fills the screen with the presence of the nameless creature. While the entire cast is amazing, the director, the doctor, and most of all the creature have to make you believe in what your eyes are telling you. Whether this movie is your type of movie or not, watch it and allow yourself to experience it.

Production designer, art director, and special effects designer Mick Strawn joins Brandon, Joe, and Allan for some behind the scenes storytelling from decades of major movie making. Anything from critters to vampires is fair game. Then, Brandon and Joe do the wrap up on this year's convention.
