Max reminds Joe, Brandon, and Allan that the original Shrek is now 24 years old and it still holds up. They the guys bid farewell to a Hollywood standard for many years, Joe Don Baker. It did it all from small roles to larger than life. Joe and Brandon are going to miss Andor now that it is completed. It may get remembered as one of the best of its genre.

Joe and Brandon are joined by Austin Bell from MidSouth Mega Con to discuss the business of entertainment conventions. Many trends have come and gone over the decades and the one thing that remains consistent is the love of the fans and their passion for their favorite shows and movies. They wrap up with what everyone can expect from MidSouth Mega Con.

Joe, Brandon, and Allan all agree that Andor is still one of the best television shows produced today. Expectations are high for the rest of the season. Brandon gets into the world and story telling of modern wrestling. He points out that there are seasons, story arcs, and it is all done with practical effects. No computer generated images here.

Joe, Brandon, and Allan get things started with the observation that Daredevil has not had a consistent season. With all of the major flops from last year and this year Brandon points out effects and lots of dollars are not good enough anymore. They all want to see acting chemistry, good story telling, and Allan says it better have a great vibe to make it these days.

Brandon, Joe, and Allan dive straight into the Daredevil reboot of the reboot and the changes happening in the middle of the season. Brandon takes it all further with the missed timing of a variety of projects. If the movie had been done 5 years earlier or five years later - would it have done better. With growing production times, a lot of shows may be missing their "window".

The Geek Patrol reviews the career of Val Kilmer and how much he will be missed. Brandon gets to explain CinemaCon and why we care. This is that event where the "back room deal" just might be taking place as theatre operators get to peek the movies coming soon. Then, the guys have a little bit of celebrating to do. April 3, 2015 was the launch of ten years of Geek Tank Radio. They have a little reminiscing to do.

Brandon leads the charge into why as known properties enter the public domain, the first thing that happens is a horror movie. In many ways, they may be cheap and derivative but they have the audacity to be made. Continuing the theme of moving a story along, Joe has a few concerns with the mid-season episodes of Daredevil.

Brandon has a few thoughts about the new Snow White and the amount of coverage of its release. He wraps up with a few words of wisdom about out growing certain genres and when it is time to let them go. The entire patrol is sad to have to say good bye to one of the greats, George Foreman. From boxer to minister to grill pitchman, he seemed to enjoy every stage of his life and will be missed.

The Geek Patrol is a bit on the "from the hip" side of show prep this week. First, they welcome Norway to the listening family then they get back into the amazing dramas series that Daredevil was and still is. They wrap up the show with a few comments about the upcoming St. Patrick's Day.
