This week’s episode is a bit more raw and edgy than normal. We are going to take an honest and candid look at the awkward subject of paying for sex. If you are sensitive or squeamish, you might want to skip this one.
Today we are going continue the deep dive we began in the last episode into the ethics of flirting, meeting great women, and dating. We are going to look into how to think about several aspects and problem areas that you are likely to encounter as you progress through your journey through the wonderful, fun and rewarding world of flirting, dating, and relationships.
Today we are going to look into the subject of the ethics of flirting and dating. What sort of things are good or not so good when it comes to meeting women: your intentions, how you act, the decisions you have to make along the way, your treatment of women, and generally how you think about the whole subject. We’ll do this by talking about some specific, real-world examples of issues you are likely to encounter as you navigate that world. I talk about some real issues here, including dating more than one woman at a time, and when is it ever okay to cheat.
In meeting women, how can you be bold, yet respectful, non-threatening, cool, and fun— all at the same time? In this episode, we will take another look back at flirting history during a specific timeframe the late 1800s through around 1930 when flirting or acquaintance cards were in use. I think there are things we can learn from that very different time - both good and bad - toward our goal.

Consider the book your complete textbook. The content on this channel and the podcast is all free and is intended to expand upon the book, and give you even more practical examples. You'll end up being like the Navy SEALs of flirting, so cool and professional, prepared, naturally confident and effective that you know you can handle any flirting, dating, or social situation to world class standards. There will be great supplemental and supporting material released on this channel at least once per week. The same material will be made available as the "Gentlemen's Guide to Flirting" podcast.

For the past few weeks I, your exalted leader, alongside some other leading scholars and top scientists in the flirting world have been in the GGTF Research laboratory creating the definitive guide to the history of flirting. Many snacks were consumed in this pursuit, several naps were taken, and - I sadly report - some lives were lost. But I am here to report that we are done, and are presenting our findings in this:

How can you meet a great lady without being creepy or inappropriate in the modern MeToo world? Opportunities in life to connect with that great lady might pass you by if you are too afraid to act or let the world know you are there, or even exist. Being afraid to speak up will likely get you nowhere. Is there a balance that can be struck for well-intentioned guys, for guys with unrivaled integrity? I say yes, and that is central to our approach in the Gentlemen’s Guide to Flirting book. The book shows you how to be bold yet respectful. It shows you how to be playful yet impeccably well-behaved throughout the process.
I very intentionally don’t normally discuss topical or news items in this podcast, but in rare cases when I feel I have insights from a particular event that might be useful for you, I’ll speak up. Today is one of those days. As of when I am recording this, February 5th, 2022, popular podcaster and celebrity Joe Rogan got into a great deal of trouble, rightfully, over comments that he made in the past. I have a few thoughts I want to share about this, not to pile on Joe Rogan, but to learn from his mistakes.
We are two years in to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it’s time for another morale boost. In my own life, I continue to see people cracking under this continued stress and pressure. Cracking under pressure, that isn’t us. Yielding or compromising on our standards and principles, that isn’t us. We find a way to thrive in all conditions. But, again, it doesn’t hurt for us to huddle up from time to time to remind ourselves of that.
