Outside observers report "troubling" conditions, citing "pervasive intimidation" of voters inside and outside polling stations. Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili is leading the opposition response. She says recognizing the elections "would be tantamount to legitimizing Russia’s takeover of Georgia."
