A Pioneer in Korean Christianity Shares His Heart

Rev. Manwoo A. Kim is very famous in the Korean community. Among the list of his achievements is (1) being the first national director of Student For Christ (SFC) in Korea and the current national director of SFC in the United States. SFC is an evangelical Christian studeents' movement with thousands of members around the world. Michael Card performed at a recent national SFC conference held at Villanova University in Pennsylvania. (2) He has been the top leader of the Korean Council of Churches in Philadelphia and is currently the most respected senior Korean clergy in the city, transcending denomination lines. (3) He is on the board of the National Korean Churches Council that includes close to 100 per cent membership of all Korean churches in the USA, across denominational lines. Their World Missions Conference will be held at the Billy Graham Center of Wheaton College, IL. this summer. These are only a few of his achievements. You can see what makes him who he is, a global Christian leader, when you read his Christian devotional poems in this book.

A wonderful collection of touching poems

Each poem in this wonderful collection is filled with soul-stirring thoughts and emotions. Not only are Rev. Kim's poems thought-provoking, they truly fill the reader's senses and leave him/her eagerly anticipating the next one. It can be seen from the poems that the author truly loves the "First Pasture". The narrator, George Taylor, is the perfect choice for reading this audiobook of poetry.

His voice is deep and comforting as he tells Regina's poems of life with all of the loves, dreams, disappointments and triumphs expressed so vividly.

So much of what I've experienced in life is communicated in the words of this book.

Thank you Regina, for finding a way to articulate so truly the human journey. It was beautiful to listen to over and over, every time finding something new to reflect on.

WOW! Iâve read this authors books. Now she comes out with poetry. I couldnât put it down. I love the way the pictures are the setup for the next poem. Thereâs many different rhyming poems in this outstanding poetry book. Some magical, inspirational , fun, thoughtful. I really enjoyed reading this book. Ethereal and Grounded

Regina Puckett delivers heartfelt, emotional, and honest poetry. She highlights it with gorgeous photographs, creating a collection that is both ethereal and grounded. I don't usually enjoy rhyming, but Puckett pulls it off in a unique fashion; it doesn't feel trite, and with few exceptions nothing is forced. If you're looking for a short read, with keen observations, a few laughs, and a lot of heart, go on and catch some Firelies.

Beautiful Words From A Loving Heart

My two favorites are "Just A Moment" and "No Superheroes".

I enjoyed all of the poems very much!!! They each have a touch of reality entering fantasy. And or fantasy entering our reality... Regina combines moments of reality and fantasy and shows us all how they make our lives genuinely whole.

I love the pictures and the thoughts they invoke as you read the next poem. I'm so thrilled to have this book!!! I can revisited each poem forever!!!

"Sparkling Poems of Life"

Author Regina Puckett is very talented in sharing her stories of love, tales of horror, inspiration, and poetry. "Fireflies" is just a sampling of her short poems which appreciate nature, the challenges of life, being brave, love, and making choices. The illustrations/photos are thought-provoking and beautiful. These inspirational poems I would like to have printed on my weekly calendar to cherish for each week. Simply beautiful, Author Regina Puckett. Your works forever amaze me.

Book of many sides

Regina Puckett did it again for me. With dark and light evenly measured she paints you visions. Though I liked them all three stood out at me, No Super Heroes, Season's Memories, and Monkey See. I love to read Regina Puckutt's poetry. She is amazing and before you know it you too will be rhyming.
