I start the week off with disappointing news out of Omaha at the College World Series. The hysteria over Covid is still running rampant. In our weekly segment Suds With Studs, I share the story of Lawrence Joel who was a Medic in the Vietnam War and was awarded the Medal of Honor for his heroic actions. I also give my thoughts on the upcoming College World Series Finals and the NHL Stanley Cup Final after watching multiple games leading up the to these two great championship events.

Pat Taylor has lived his entire life bringing children to know God. He has worked as a Missionary, Pastor, and life long Leader for Kare Youth League. His most notable work was founding La Liga Del Futuro in San Felipe, Mexico. We discuss his journey through life and the many blessings he has experienced. Some fun random topics include his his fandom of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Georgia Bulldogs, and San Francisco Giants as well as a great Fernando Valenzuela story.

Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In #65. Bill Barnes and I bounce around a few topics and answer a couple questions from listeners. We both share our recent experiences out in public with the mask mandate being dropped. Bill has committed to speaking directly into the microphone for this episode. Topics today include ump cam in Omaha, Johnny Carson, college baseball coaching changes, and Covid hysteria. Bill headed off on a short vacation for a few days after recording with me where I'm sure he will recruit some new listeners.

We start the week off honoring Shannon Kent in our latest edition of Suds With Studs. Other topics include the College World Series, the US Open, and the NHL Playoffs. Mike Cascioppo is a San Diego County Deputy Sheriff who experienced quite a scary situation back in February. He has bounced back since then and continues to do great work in law enforcement. Mike is also a former Minor League Baseball umpire who spent 10 years in the game. He will share his story of getting into professional baseball and some of the memorable moments from his time there. Mike is a huge San Diego Chargers fan, so we will discuss the state of the franchise and how frustrating it has been with their recent move to Los Angeles.

Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In #64. Bill Barnes and I rant about life as we see it. Topics today include the watered down product of baseball, consequences of the lockdown, getting rid of masks, and some cop stories. We also answer the infamous question: Ginger or Mary Ann? Bill shares quite a few memories of his ex wives as well. Near the end of the show, I ask Bill what would be his walk up music to announce his presence and his answers didn't disappoint.

I also give my thoughts on the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals from this weekend and offer up some history about the College World Series. Other topics include the NHL Playoffs, UFC 263, College Football Playoff expansion, and over reacting for rule changes. Additionally, I ask the audience what their "walk up" song would be in life.

Brad Hull has been a life long supporter and contributor to the Cal State Fullerton baseball program. He and I worked a few years together in the press box for game operations where we experienced a lot of big moments in Titan Baseball. Brad has been to Omaha for the College World Series and made a few other notable road trips over the years. We will look back at the 2004 National Championship as well as speculate who could possibly fill the recent head coaching vacancy. Cal State Fullerton might not be in the Super Regionals this weekend, but it's still a good time of the year to talk about one of the historically best baseball programs in Southern California.

Weekly Wednesday Weigh-In #63. Bill Barnes and I discuss some random topics as we partake in a little Happy Hour. We chat about who the next Head Coach could be at for Cal State Fullerton Baseball, check swing procedures, and the inconsistency of Dr Fauci. Bill also shares two stories of when he met Carrie Underwood and Jennifer Lopez. This episode was a little more loose and there is good reason why. Cheers!

I also give my thoughts on why we must never forget the significance of June 6th. Our sports topics today consist of the Mayweather/Paul fight, why Laker fans always act the same way when the Lakers lose in the playoffs, the NHL almost down to it's final four teams, RHP Softball's playoff run, and an extensive look into the NCAA Baseball Regionals. Other random thoughts include why more restaurants/bars don't spend money on Pay Per View events to bring in bigger revenue.
